Well some got snow, we got rain again this am, although its gone off now and the sun has come out!

Caught up with all sundays tv this am, SCD nice to see Louis get praise off the judges, didnt the studio audience go mad after his dance, havent heard clapping like that since 2010

As for CF, lovely although im not very keen on caps
And how cute are the minin B's

Car is in for its annual MOT and service dread to think what the bill will be.....still cant manage without it

Harry Hill on TT tonight - not someone I like. I watched his show once and couldn't understand the appeal of it. It is very popular though I believe.

I wonder if they'll have the Christmas decorations up?

Did you know he used to be a Doctor? And is apparently still registered so he could practice again!

Evening, hoping for some fun and games on the OS tonight! HH is a bit of an acquired taste but in fact I probably won't notice him very much Mr B will hold my gaze and if he looks like this, I will definitely be on the floor....

Haven't had a review of last night's gorgeous MB and kids.....what a treat in store for me Trying to make a start on wrapping dozens of presents so that's been my main aim today, Matt had to take a back seat!

A ratings update for last night 18:20 - Countryfile: 6.56m (27.4%). The show actually got a higher rating than Coronation Street on ITV (which it was up against for part of the show as that started at 7pm). The acting was a little down on the last few weeks as it is now up against the Christmas movies that do well year after year. Last night was Miracle on 34th Street and next week will be Elf. Both probably get double the usual audience for their channel

Just bodded in from cinema and have to agreee SG - cheap at hlf the price.

Mmmm not a HH fan at all - really cannot see the appeal. My opinion only. Perhaps the sofa will be decked with baubles and holly as the festive season approaches,

Cass I did know he was a doctor but ibviously felt a change of career was in the offing. Had my car done a few weeks ago - nearly had to take out a second mortgage

I'm tempted to say he shouldn't have given up his day job - but I won't

Not that keen on harry h either, never found the big burp that funny, but he was alright, maybe a little hard work
Matt was more than alright he was very bouncy, the razor had found it's way out and a smooth fresh face matt looking great in a light pink shirt.

I think it was the Richard Attenborough version - that's the one that they normally show every year here

I had a nice Xmas shopping break in Somerset. Spent too much on myself (some nice jewellery, a new purse, scarf, and a dress) but did also get some presents for other people too!

And both of Matt's waistcoat wearing excursions last week were when male guests were on so your high-profile female guest theory is destroyed.

Yes, he's broadening his criteria, which is a good thing. Mind you, I think the best waistcoat ensemble was worn by Gary Linecker. Wasted on him of course, but it was a nice combination.

Rita, glad you are on the road to recovery now, it's surprising what a bit of waistcoat can do to lift the spirits. And KK, good to hear you experienced successful retail therapy in deepest Somerset, purchasing some treats for yourself and Christmas gifts....I hope you got some bargains.

I am surround by lots of wrapping paper (I try to recycle as much from the previous year as possible.....miserly, moi? ) and piles of presents. Trying to combine the two is making me tired and giving me a headache. Still, it must be done.

Well I thought OS was fine and although HH is not to everyone's taste, I felt he chatted away quite happily and took an interest in the usual random events on the show Matt looked well-scrubbed with a neat and shaven face and pink shirt (not my favourite colour) and was very tiggery and enthusiastic....think he really liked HH's sense of humour. AJ wasn't irritated by HH as she was with PK last Friday so she was keen to promote his new DVD! So a good starter for 4!

Better get on with the business in hand....on second thoughts I've had enough so will just leave all the wrapping littered on the floor and start afresh tomorrow. In the meantime, CCM to all lovely ladies, sweet MB dreams, see you tomorrow. :sleep: xx

Think PK could be personna non grata after his little performance last Friday - glad AJ mentioned theTHE DVD he kept on about was not as good as HH, He just could not be contained

Off to do a bit of sighseeng today, lunch out and some retail therapy. Why not - I am on hols this week!

Afternoon all . Didn't watch all of the show last night but they did seem to be having fun in the bit I saw. Liked Alex having a dig at Peter Kay who really appears to have annoyed people on Friday by over-promoting his DVD (to the point of not having a guest photo taken...)

Rating for last night was 19:00- The One Show: 4.42m (20.7%) which is nice and consistent.

Thanks so much KK for posting the 'first dance'..... how fabulous is that Matt backflipping and grooving away So happy that at least one sensible YF had their wits about them to video that special dance (and then all female YFs went into meltdown and thudded spectacularly). I bet Mrs D will never be the same again!

Back to present wrapping....70 at the last count....but so happy to see that vid, it will spur me on
