Evening all
![]() A mostly sunny day, came over dark later still afternoon but no rain or storm forecast. How is everyone. last decent tos of the week ![]() Bouns matt again tonight before TOS tonight. ![]() Great tos tonight lee m was a good guest, being very naughty with the joke about piers m Matt looked fabulous in his pink shirt with unbuttonage, looked quite tanned, nice ruffled hair, shame the razor has been found, nice and bouncy. ![]() Cass you had fun today getting your dad's buggy sorted out, a bit of a result getting it fix for £22. The matt antedote was funny, you just new what was coming, but still funny. Nice show pic

And it's goodnight from me....
When you're a nursie, there's not much time for posting or all the other things that make life worth living. Like WMA....Glad buggy probs got sorted out Cass, lovely purpley pics KK (thanks very much) and hope job going OK Rita! Matt looking a picture in pink tonight. And L*e Ma*k being a slightly mischievous man and getting a bit close to the mark, i.e. his reference to Pi*rs M. Matt was just getting ready with his 'moving on' phrase in case the guest carried on with any suggestive pre-watershed jokes.... Comedians sometimes forget that young children will be watching although I am sure they get the rules and regulations before their appearances so there's no excuse really. So a couple of Mattless days to recover from this thudtastic week and for some of us to catch up on all things Baker. We need a period of recuperation to set us up for Sunday at 7!So it's time to say CCM to all, night night, sleep tight, bedbugs etc. etc. xx

). If anything Alex looked more shocked. Matt does have a habit of appearing very wholesome and slightly retro 1950s-esque so it can make people believe he has those same standards in a tv sense. I tend to think he's worked in showbiz for well over 10 years now and I think he has a lot more of an edge in terms of humour and attitude than might be obvious. Blue Peter tended to be notorious for its presenters seeing just how many dodgy lines they could get into a show for example .

I agree kk. I wouldn't worry if I had small kids - no way would they understand or even be sufficiently interested to ask. Maybe a tad cruel at someone else's expense, but then jokes always are - and I'm sure Piers's skin is thick enough (was going to say shoulders broad enough but don't think they are
). I did think Matt momentarily went even more pink than he already was, but then he followed up with one of his throaty (dirty) laughs. The more I watch Matt the more I realize what a very complex person he is. One of the things I like about him is the way he appears sometimes to be very naive and a bit prudish - then says or does something to prove he absolutely is not. There are a lot of contraditions going on inside him I feel - but he's cerainly been around.

- just to add to my collection of "odd" Matt get-ups (of which there are now quite a few). I don't really like this shirt. Not so much the colour but also the texture and pattern. Something else that's coming back into fashion I suppose, but it very much reminds me of cheap, nylon shirts when smart people were wearing Ben Shermans. Yes, I know that was a long time ago but I have my memories ![]() I agree that Louise was not that good, but do wonder if it's lack of experience. Alex was far worse to begin with than Louise is now, and even Matt has improved and relaxed more into the role. Must be extremely difficult to fill in for someone who you know is popular - and I do think Alex is popular. And although I quite like Alex now (mostly because of her obvious and genuine concern over Matt during RC) I still think she's a poor presenter who does not have the sensitivity to go with the flow. I often think how much better the whole thing could be with a more tuned-in co-host sitting beside Matt. Still, he seems to like her. |

3.8m for TT last night. No percentage, but lowest figure we've had for a while. Wonder why. Emmerdale seems about the same.

There's a percentage added now and it's 18.9%. I really think it's the effect of having political broadcasts before the show. If you're not deliberately setting out to watch the show it is likely to make you switch channels. And then you're not going to swap back. Next week will be interesting to see if it recovers to its more recent 20-22% audience share

Afternoon all - what a beauriful day after the hell and damnation experienced by some parts yesterday.
Thanks Cass for the link - will watch later as have many things to catch up on. OH going our to watch the Merseyside Derby tomorrow so will have an hour or three on my own ![]() Wonder what I can do that is productive................................. SG - keep a stiff upper lip in the midst of your nursing duties (plus one or two other things as well).Hope the patient's temperament has improved. How about a spot of WMA together?? Well on the other hand, perhaps not. Thudding would not be easy in the prescence of OHHad my mop chopped as well today so feeling slightly more human. Back later |

From various tweets it looks like Matt is probably having a good time in the pretty bits of Suffolk. He spent time at a dairy that makes ice-cream this morning (they love him) and then he headed for Southwold pier to promenade whilst eating ice-cream. The pier tweeted about that and swooned
![]() And it appears lunch is fish & chips which is delightfully predictable

Evening, looks like everyone in Suuffolk has fallen under Bakers spell judging by the tweets today
![]() Actually watched TOS tonight, it was dare i say it quite good.. They had 2 old ladies, Betty and Beryl who do a radio show and are up for a award, they are big fans of Michael Buble ![]() and were delighted when Chris and Alex gave them signed pics, can just imagine how Matt would of been with them, think they have another MB to dote over

Wonder if the pier stood up to all the thudding going on. Excitement always in the air when he's around. Promises to be a good'un in 2 weeks then - ice cream lickin' good, Cant wait |

A very quick good morning before I start my rounds!
![]() Haven't rewatched the Thursday OS yet with LM, just to see again the various imping that went on. ![]() Bright day here so far today, will try and get out for my walk later - it's good to have time away from the house. ![]() Safe journeys to our bodding bakerettes, there'll be something stirring in them thar moors! The noise of numerous and continuous thuds methinks!Yes, lovely pic of Matt on the pier, and we have all the icecreaminess to look forward to in a couple of weeks' time. What joy! ![]() Shame the weather didn't allow for short-sleeved, slightly tight-fitting checky shirt! Still, we can't have too much of a good thing, need a little rest before the next thud - thing is, our lovely man keeps on raising the bar! Oh well, better get back to me duties folks - hope you all have a beautiful and sunny Saturday.......
