Good morning, and the last OS of the week that counts is nigh. Matt has looked stupendous all week and tonight we will have to soak up all the loveliness to last us until Sunday!
![]() KK thank you again for all the fantastic pics, they bring back thudalicious memories of particular CFs and One Shows when Matt looked especially wonderful. These will certainly brighten up our days.Looking after little grandson as too unwell to go to school but OH is marvellous with him! To the doctors later for a diagnosis. Will try and get my walk in and a quick trip to the shops. Early fog dissipating and looking brighter now, hope it's fine weather for most of you! Signing off for now, have a thudtastic Thursday. ![]()

Hello everyone!
Just a quick question, has anyone known when the OS SR 1000 miles event kick off from Mall tomorrow? Could it be Lucy or Matt reporting from there? Lucy is more likely though I wonder if they would do CF and the OS SR filming crossover like they did for Matt’s RC on CF. Just a wishful thinking. Just read a piece of news article reposting Matt was confirmed to be a celebrity judge on the Farmer Weekly Wellywood Competition to help the FW pick the winner. http://www.fwi.co.uk/Articles/14/03/...ompetition.htm It did not mention the date of the event and the venue but it’s something we can look forward to. |

Mull would be a long way for him to travel to start off the 1000 mile and I think you're right - it may be Lucy. Matt & Alex will be there at the end on the Sunday so that I think will be their involvement (along with the clips that will be on the show every day) |

In February, Matt started on The One Show after winning the highest percentage ever of Strictly Tour Dates (a record he still holds today). For Countryfile he was in Holmfirth (still 2 of the best pictures of Matt ever I think) and on the sofa he was in waistcoats (and wearing a daffodil on his head)

Love the pics from Holmfirth and triditional spade making in Belfast. Matt and Alex's the Monkey tribute 'the OneKey' was enjoyable and the fire alarm on the live show was the shocking moment that I still remember. |

Emma, Matt is going to be home on the farm near Durham this weekend - he mentioned it when they had the article about lambs on The One Show earlier this week. He is filming Countryfile tomorrow I think as Julia is in Durham today so it fits.

Oh I see KK, I heard Matt saying he would go to Durham this weekend after One Show farmer's (forgot her name) VT about the lambs and virus spreading but I presumed he meant the weekend not on Friday.
![]() ) so he does only seem to travel to the farm if Countryfile is filming locally or he has time off. I suppose it just makes better use of time...

![]() new house! ![]() ![]() thanks for all the pics KK - but I've got to admit I'm hopelessly far behind in my picspams etc at the moment. i just can't keep up. It has been another good week of TT's - maybe not quite so exciting as last week but its funny how we seem to get runs of really good shows. All the best ones seem to come together I think. I suspected as soon as M mentioned going to the farm that CF might be ooop north this week. Otherwise unless he had the week off CF it would hardly be worth going. From what he said at GW last year I got the impression they do go up there alot more than you'd think - they said how great the kids were at travelling. However I guess its harder now the kids are at school cos they'd have to be back for Sunday night. Funny I'll be doing the reverse journey this weekend as we're going to see my mum & dad in London. Horrible journey that - mindnumbingly boring. Just seen a tweet from T4M saying to watch the programme tomorrow night about Helen Skelton's polar thingybob cos Matt is narrating. Yay!! bonus Friday Matt! I do hope eventually we get some sort of overview/review programme of RC like the others have had - do we think there will be? I always thought there must have been alot more footage than we ever saw - even the build up as very little was really shown and he hasn't had much of a chance to talk about it really. However maybe it was different because his challenge was actually timed as part of the CR week of events whereas DW's swim & Helens were months in advance so maybe they think people need a reminder of what happenned. I've forgotten again who the guest is tonight - no doubt its another repeat though. Having said that alot of them are good ones - I doubt we'll see DC back (either of them!)Torville & Dean were lovely again last night even though M did display an alarming amount of interest in how to swing a lady round in the air ![]() he seemed a tad too keen on the idea of DOI for my liking but then again......think I may be coming round to the idea. No idea if the opportunity has, or will ever, come up but I'm beginning to think it would be fab. In a way it would be even more of a challenge than SCD as you have to learn the new skill pretty much from scratch as well as try and perfect it. He'd be fab and I'd go insane ... both those things are inevitable but ........ ![]() ![]() all that lycra ........ |

Well, Matt was a sight for sore eyes this evening - and my eyes are feeling a bit sore. Loved the shirt, loved the shoulders, the hair - everything in fact. Not overkeen on the trousers but the side view was quite nice
He was chirpy as well. Thought the shirt was best buttoned up (exceptionally, mind you) as otherwise you would not have seen the line of the collar properly. Some of us on twitter were reminded a bit of a dog-collar with the white lining![]() Lovely TT in all, and we have Matt's voice tomorrow, so only one Mattless day this week. Yay! |

Emma, I can't remember now how many times H&A won, but I worked it out at the time that they were one or two percent lower than M&A who won 26 out of 35 shows (most of the rest were won by pamjam with a little help from the judges). We can never be sure of course, but I would say it's highly probable that had they done six more shows, M&A would have had six more wins - giving them the highest number. As things stand, H&A have the winning number, and M&A have the winning percent.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strictly_Come_Dancing If we look at the winning number only it looks like R&V and Mattiona shared the same result, didn’t they? In fact, both H & R lost the winning number than M did on the tour. Anyway can a couple win the live tour as a whole if they win 51%? Will they be the champions of the live tour of that year and get the glitterball trophy? Quote:

I found this message on his blog. Quote:
Most recently I have been Producing and Directing Matt Baker's Rickshaw Challenge for the BBC raising money for Children in Need. Filming backwards on an EX3 camera in a landrover at 8mph from Edinburgh to London... Currently editing it...
I do hope he meant it for M's RC coverage or program. 8 days of filming from Edinburgh to London was a lot to shoot and cover, wasn't it?

Rita, according to SCD wiki, Hali had 30 wins + 11 runners-up whereas Rachael and Vincent had 26 wins + 14 runners-up. There is no mention of SCD Live tour 2011 results, just a list of tour constants. I found it really odd.

You don't have to win more than 50% of the shows - just more than anyone else. You get a small glitterball for each win and then the large one for winning the tour. |

No Matt & Aliona and Rachel & Vincent didn't share the same result. Matt had the same amount of wins but there were less shows in the 2011 tour - as a result Matt and Aliona have the highest winning percentage of any couple on tour. That's what Rita has been saying - Harry has the record for most wins on the tour, Matt has the record for winning the highest percentage of shows. As one of the places they didn't tour was Newcastle I kind of think Matt would have won more if they had gone there so he might have held both records for at least one more year

You get a small glitterball for each win and then the large one for winning the tour. Mattiona would have definitely won in Newcastle plus Cardiff if they did tour there. No one could stop them unless the judges did the dirty tricks!

New one evrytime I open a door No Matty sightings for me tonight alas - work does get in the way. I assumed that any CF filming this week would be in them thar Durham hills as the clan were heading home - either that or no CF filming at all - not enough hours in the day Bee - so the Lycra word has changed your mind about DOI has it ![]() Must admit I would love to see him have a gaw (cant see it though) but he did have a gleam in the eye and the enthusiasm when the headbanging was mentioned........... well he could practice with a sheep or three - lots of bales of hay to fall onto - another Mr Darcy moment,So the dulcet tones will be on tomorrow - is it for an hour??? Cant wait CCM all |

Hi y'all - trying desperately to keep up with everything this week and failing.
All the new decorative pics to look at, very little in the way of reviews of this week's OSs and not much time on here. Shape of things to come. it's all doom and gloom I tell you.Matt looked his usual gawgus self tonight, not totally won over by the grey trews but they did show off the thighs in a special way. . The shirt could have done with a bit more unbutton age but the colour was fantastic on him. it was a quieter programme tonight and I felt Matt was happier talking about plants and gardening rather than knickers. ![]() Aww KK what treats you've given us. Got stuck on May, so am lagging behind somewhat. Grandson been diagnosed with tonsillitis, thanks for your concern SkyBlue. So we will look after him tomorrow morning and in the afternoon too plus granddaughter. And then again we have him for most of Saturday. I do adore them, however it will be nice to get back to normality next week. ![]() We are all ridiculously happy that we have the FBB doing the VoiceOver for tomorrow's H Sk*lton polar challenge (Matt had one of those a few months ago ![]() Off to do the rubbish bag for tomorrow and some other little chores. So CCM, and try and sleep tight, although that is not always the case for some bakerettes......perhaps tonight will be a turning point, or a case of tossing and turning!! xx |
