Afternoon all - sssssssshhhhhhhhhh Very quiet on here,Has everyone moved in yet,
KK Thanks for yet another extraordinary collection to feast these weary eyes on. Hope to catch up later with all the eye candy. Day off so spent entire morning mowing, weeding, clipping, sweeping and general garden duities. Not my fav occupation ![]() Oh Dear SG you sound the saviour of your family, Don't overdo it and hope that a little time in the presence of The Voice tonight will bring some equilibrium back to your very hectic retired life.Perhaps it should be prescribed on the NHS. hope your doom and gloom moment soon disappears into the ether Hope grandson soon recovers - am sure a little Nanny Love goes a long way, Well off to finish the chores-such is life ![]() Sounds as if you have had such a busy day Lotus. All that gardening, preparing for spring. I think we had our spring yesterday, one fine and warm day, and it's back to the chilliness today. Fortunately I only have a very small garden, and it's dead easy to look after....so small you can't swing the proverbial cat around it....a 'little cat' even.....I have just emerged from a small snooze after a frenetic day. I...have...not....stopped. It's been full-on today, grandson now on the mend, thank you Lotus. I have a very hectic weekend coming up and I fear I may not be seeing CF in real time as it's Mother's Day and we've been invited to daughter's in the evening. Come Monday, however, I can resume WMA, 4 OSs to catch up on! One viewing is not enough! ![]() So our reward will be at 8.30 tonight when we hear the glorious voice of Mr B - such a shame we won't see the glorious body to match. Hurrah!Trust all peeps have had a great Friday, had their dindins and are now getting settled around their tellys for some delightful commentary from the FBB. Makes me smile in anticipation. ![]()

BP presenters rule! Am sure that MB would have loved the snow kiting - he would have given it a gaw and been shoting "weeeeee" as he was whisked up into the air Extr'ornary!!!! CCM, all |

A quiet evening on here!
Lovely inspirational programme on Helen's trek to the south pole. she's quite a gal! And Matt's warm and empathetic commentary complemented the action shown on screen. Helen rose to the SR challenge and achieved it brilliantly ![]() Better CCM now, good sleeps to everyone, and hoping all readers have a super Saturday. xx |

Good morning everyone!
I was so touched by the bravery of Helen and her determination to make a difference with SR. For a while I felt transported back to Matt's days on Blue Peter. What a voice, BBC know how play to the viewers heart. I pledged some money immediately. I was happy for Helen and happy/sad for the little children. |

Strangely I have found time to come on here for a couple of minutes! I take the opportunities when I can! ![]() The more I think about last night's programme the more admiration I have for Helen who battled on through thick and thin and through her own pain barrier - much like our fantastic Matt! The scenes of the little boy were quite heart-breaking and it's wonderful to know that lives will be changed for the better because of the funds that Helen and Matt and all the other celebrities' challenges have raised. They are all completely wonderful! ![]() Back to my grandsonminding, grand-daughter having been whisked off to other places! Weather not great here today, bit drizzly but it's nice to be in the warm..... Have a great weekend to one and all, especially to bodding bakerettes, lucky ladies!

Hellaw and happy St. Patrick's Day to Irish, part-Irish (like myself) and non-Irish alike.
Have been feeling totally exhausted for a couple of days now. Not even got the energy to put fingers to keyboard. Don't know why, but have routine doctor's visit on Monday and he will have results of blood test done last week so will know if anything is amiss. I have trouble absorbing nutrients so might just be a couple of months of poor absorption taking it's toll. We'll see. Last Mattless day today (yesterday of course was not Mattless but wasn't exactly Mattfull either). I'm off to do some ironing then for a little lie down I think. |

Emma - Matt isn't the tallest guy around and is actually rather slim (Chris Evans described him as having Action Man's wardrobe after the Rickshaw Challenge when he said Matt couldn't afford to lose that much weight
). But he definitely still has the body shape of an athlete - broad shoulders and powerful arms, tapering down to slim waist and hips. As he commented to Davina - lifting sheep and haybales must help So yeah, the camera angle is helping but those biceps are all Matt's own work .

Mine was a bit mixed, managed to sneak in quite a bit of rugby time but grandson got a bit bored. Fortunately OH is a fantastic grandad and kept our little man amused. ![]() Lucky you SkyBlue getting to KK's November pics. I have been all over the place with WMA so will have to wait until Monday to go through the new decorations in a systematic way ![]() Rita, hope you are OK, POCs to you. Rest up (well it sounds as if you are!) and perhaps the doctor can prescribe the right medicines to give you your energy back. It must be a worry for you as you are usually bodding about and climbing hundreds of steps. I am sure you will feel energised tomorrow night. ![]() Better whizz off to do my ironing and then enjoy my mocha......

KK, I do think Matt does look quite fit, strong and has great stamina though he looks like a kid brother if he’s standing next to people like PM David C or David W@lliam. On SCD, Matt’s salsa and samba shirts and showdance waistcoat revealed his body in great shape so he looked hot and sexy without taking his shirts off, unlike Scott and Gav.

SG - hope you have a less stressful week and time to catch up. You sound as if a little break , a few days away is what is needed ![]() ![]() Hope Cass is enjoying her sun sand and sangria in more exotic climes Happy mothers day tomorrow to all the mums out there |

Oh dear, dropped off to sleep on the sofa
but I suppose I needed the sleep. So we have pond dipper Matt and trainee smuggler Matt tomorrow on cf. Should be a great programme, anything with Matt in is. Hope you had a good time at the flicks Lotus! Sounds as if you perhaps didn't get the best seats in the house? But I expect it was enjoyable nevertheless. ![]() Come Monday I shall be back to a normal week (by the way, what is normal ) and although busy, will have a little more time to catch upon all things Matt. How I will love that.As I'm unlikely to get on here in the morning, have a lovely mother's day everyone. For some it may be a difficult day so POCs to them. For myself, I shall be bringing my mum over to my house for lunch as usual and then perhaps going to my daughter's early evening....but that may be subject to change ![]() CCM to all MBlovers out there. Restful sleeps to everyone, night night. xx |

Feeling a bit more energetic today, I decided to tackle a task that hasn't been done in a very long time - clearing out and rearranging draws in desks and cupboards in what I think of as my study. So then I thought, I'll just quickly do the year in review via kk's picspams first......
...well, the cupboards and draws haven't been done in ages, as I say, so it doesn't really matter. A few more years won't hurt. I particularly enjoyed the early months of 2011. It's a long time since I've seen these pics (though I have them safely stored somewhere on this computer) and its interesting to see how much Matt has changed on the one hand, but how little he's changed on the other. That probably doesn't make much sense to anyone but myself. I've come to the following conclusions: 1. The waistcoat I like the best is the first one we saw, the very formal look, black waistcoat done up, black tie. Stern. Love it. 2. Somehow or other, we have to get Matt to start wearing these waistcoats again. It just won't do. I need to see the waistcoats again. 3. In retrospect, I quite like the sudden appearance of the short, neatly-parted hair. As long as it's worn with an appropriate outfit, and as long as he doesn't do it again. I love the curls, the unruffled look too much. 4. Stubble is essential! I can't emphasize this enough. 5. The bottom line - I really don't care what Matt wears as long as he keeps on doing what he's doing and appearing regularly on my screen .Kk, thank you for providing us with these reminders of the delights of this vintage Matt year .
