It seemed everyone was in the state of meltdown; otherwise needed a freezer after seeing 18th century trainee smuggler Matt in handcuffs on Mother’s Day and 21st century Matt in skinny tie and waistcoat last night. What really amused me on Sunday night was that 18th century trainee smuggler Matt was being chased (not really) and captured by the 21st century police petrol new recruit Julia. How could he escape from her? Hope you guys have fully recovered from this.

I was surprised to see a young lady from Amsterdam came to Glasgow to run a mile for the One Show 1000 Mile Sport Relief last night. She was in fake moustache and curly hairs (wig I think). She said she loves the One Show and watches every night.

It looked like the One Show milers are accompanied by some bike riders like they did to Matt’s CiN riskshaw challenge.

Can only agree that the quietness of this thread is probably due to extreme thuddism due to the last couple of Matt appearances on our television screens.

Just back from working lunch - Hic!!

Well me timbers are still shivering after Sunday and have crawled out of the freezer after the surprsise re-emergence of the lovely waiscoat cum tie ensemble.
Hellaw Rita - have you managed to drag yourself out as well.

My expectations tonight are much lower BUT this is FBB we are talking about so never say never to thuddastic outfit no 3 this week.

Guest tonight is not my fave and neither is the Eurovision song but needs must so will keep eyes well and truly focused elsewhwere. Am sure I will find something nice to look at

But it could be an occasion for Matt to wear a suit - maybe even another waistcoat? No, that's asking too much, and anyway I haven't recovered from last night's delight yet.
I heard the song entry the other day - not as bad as I thought it would be. A bit bland though.

My lovely white Apple keyboard was getting a bit grubby and full of cat hair so I unplugged it today and gave it a good wash. This could have been a mistake. It's now doing all sorts of odd things

I love the fringe, I must say. Made him look very boyish. I hope he goes back to that look at some point. Didn't think much of the jumper though - still, after last night's waistcoat all is forgiven.

Tos was ok tonight, Engelbert was a little hard going, he seemed to have trouble with hearing what was being said,
but i don't think the song was that good.don't think we'll be wining eurovision this year

Matt was on fine form very bouncy, his jacket was very tight around his arms. he could of almost bust the seems not sure of the colour of the shirt didn't look white, had a tiny little pattern on it.he looked lovely

It's the 21st of February on The One Show with guest Sanjeev Bhaskar and Ayesha Dharker who are on to promote series 2 of "The Indian Doctor". We have VTs on real life doctors who came from India to the UK, the changes to crime scene forensic science, singing textile workers from Dundee, and an experiment from the 1930's on measuring the mood of families.

Thought Matt look utterly gorgeous tonight. Loved the jacket, tight or not, didn't really notice the shirt, but it was the whole look - jacket, hair (which was lovely) and stubble. Plus he was very lively. Seemed to like Engelbert and the song. I must admit I don't mind him, and quite like the song too - it's a little bland but is quite catchy, and it's very corny. I love most things corny. I don't think we'll win Eurovision either, but it won't be because of Engelbert or his song. Still can't help wondering why on earth he was asked.

Anyway back to Matt. I actually liked the way he looked tonight better than last night - yes in spite of the waistcoat. Tonight's look reminded me of the way he dressed for Joan Collins. But as I said, it's the whole look really, the slightly unruly hair and stubble, and the liveliness. He did seem last night like he wanted to get through the show (just a bit) but tonight seemed to really be enjoying himself. Who knows why. That was my impression anyway.

Are you sitting in the freezer again Rita Loved the jacket tonight but I loved THE LOOK so much last night, can't quite get over it. It all comes down to a matter of personal choice but T1S for me tonight was not that memorable whereas last night and sailor Matt ...................................... Cant please all of the people all of the time

Didn't really hear a lot of what Mr H had to say (or even sing!) as there were distractions.....namely, the FBB dressed in a snug navy jacket and I think the starry white shirt. Once again, thuds were heard throughout the land.

Matt looked lovely last night as always. I think he liked the song but Eurovision Song Contest voting and scoring the points depend on how neighbour countries get on well and support each other. Lucky if we get some points from our neighbouring countries.
