I knew it would be that song before clicking the link.

Not familiar with Rhianna's early stuff nor did I know she started with reggae music. She made the right choice moving to pop, her voice doesn't sound unique enough to stand out in reggae.

It's about sex yes but in innuendo rather than outright S&M whips and chains style and had a pleasant Caribbean tune and beat easily the most Radio friendly of Rated R and would have fitted in nicely on Loud.

More importantly, how do you think Rihanna would do on 'Popstar to Operastar'?

Ok. She'd learn how to sing properly, and could even win lol Her voice doesn't have a natural block (like Jocelyn Brown's did) so she could learn a lot. I'd love her to have classical singing lessons, it would do wonders. It's obvious which singers have frequent lessons (I know she does have a vocal coach) and who doesn't.

She couldn't do reggae because she hasn't got the right persona...very trashy/tart/rude attitude. It would be an embarrasment to all the hard work the marley family, gregory isaac, freddie mcgregor, ub40 etc to have someone like her releasing vulgar lyrics on the reggae markets time after time. Better she stick to what she's doing now so the chavs can rate her. It's about time she conducted herself appropiately and grew up. Umbrella, pon de replay etc were good hits wirhout being vulgar and stripping(to be polite) please go back to these days rihanna.
