I highly recommend Happy Valley (if you're in the U.S., Netflix is the only way to get it) and as difficult as The Fall is to watch, since it appears the ending of series one is not to my liking, as wasn't the ending of Happy Valley, the show is excellent. Gillian Anderson, especially, is outstanding.
With that, I am so tired of vulnerable women falling prey to seemingly normal men who rape, torture, and kill them. Scary part? It's a realistic fact.
Oh, and if you're in the mood for quirky, Twin Peaks is a good one to watch on Netflix.”
Sorry to reply to my own post, but I still can't find a discussion on
The Fall.
Phew, just found a point where the show went from taking advantage of vulnerable women to taking advantage of stupid women.
The babysitter - should and would, in any real life world, have cried rape when the killer accosted her for the hair trophy, and landed him in jail.
So, now I can watch the show and know it is badly written.
Oh, and speaking of badly written, do all psychologists get away with doing no work at home, spending no late hours in the office, and staying awake all night without it affecting their job?
Nice. I want to be a psychologist too.
