Thank you, was thinking of giving Dexter a watch so will definitely put that on my list. Hadn't thought of Hannibal, I'm not squeamish in the slightest so shall try that also. Have seen Making A Murderer already - can't get that one out of my head, had me shouting at the TV in disbelief!

Thanks for the suggestions.
I agree with LucyDTrym that Dexter is a bit OTT but I do think the first four seasons are enjoyable. I dragged myself through the last few seasons. It's a very hit-and-miss show but there are some genuinely thrilling arcs.

Another one in that sort of genre is How To Get Away With Murder. I'm eagerly anticipating the second season to come on Netflix. The first is excellent.

More as a general recommendation to everyone: I watched The Get Down recently and I loved it. I feel it got a bit overlooked as it came out at the same time as Stranger Things. Just a really great series with excellent production values, some brilliant performances from its young cast (particularly from the main character, Ezekial and, bizarely, Jaden Smith) and a kick-ass soundtrack.

Have added How To Get Away With Murder to my list too as noticed a few pages back some posters saying how they were enjoying it. Never seen Prison Break so have added that also.

Haven't read all 47 pages but can highly recommend "Power" on Netflix. Absolutely brilliant series.

If you have never seen Scream the TV series it's well worth a watch. I wathed the Halloween SP last night to end season 2 and it was very very good. Would recommend it.

You do realise that most of you guys are just recommending the most popular shows on Netflix? They're already highlighted pretty prominently.

I think itīs because this shows fits for the most.
If a lot of people watch a show there will be a very close one to this show.
Just look at NCIS or CSI, if they make a lot of money with that shows they pull out another one like that.
If someone has a secret tip i take them and will give it a try.

Spotless. A gritty London set thriller about a crime scene cleaner with a dodgy past whose new life is turned upside down when his petty criminal brother turns up and he gets involved with a dangerous organised crime boss.

Need some recommendations for things to watch on Netflix please. I have recently enjoyed The Killing, Bloodline, Narcos, Breaking Bad. Also watched the documentaries Holy Hell, Who Took Johnny and the Amanda Knox one. Don't like sci-if or vampire stuff.

Anyone seen The Good Wife? Was thinking of giving that a go.

Thanks in advance.
If you liked The Killing ( brilliant series!) you should give The Bridge ago that is excellent too. (Nordic noir so need to read subtitles but give it a go)

Designated Survivor
House of Cards
Sons of Anarchy (didn't think it would be my cup of tea but it is excellent!)
Person of Interest although you have to give it a few episodes.

The American version of Shameless, nothing like the UK version (much better imo).

Chernobyl Diaries was a very decent find.
It only has two stars but if you have 90 minutes to spare and want to watch it in the dark you'll get the willies.( fnnar fnnar)
Reminds me of how you can't always rely on the star rating.

Really enjoyed the first 4 seasons of The Good Wife, season five and six were okay, watchable but was running out of stam I thought. Stuck with season 7, wished I hadn't.

Was shocked the other night to discover House is leaving Netflix at the end of December, Have been watching this all year and half way through season 7, although I am not enjoying how season seven is going I do want to see it to the end but can I fit in another 7 episodes of season seven and the whole of season eight?

Lost Soul, which is a documentary about New Line Cinema's disastrous attempt to film HG Well's 'The Island of Doctor Moreau' in the mid 90's, is really funny.

I'd highly recommend it.
