They said on Twitter last week that it was coming on the 8th August.

It is on the UK site this morning but at the moment you have to search for it. No sign of it under new releases or genres. I assume it will be put on new releases sometime today. I dont get Netflix. They get a huge title like this just 8 months after cinema release and they are not making a big deal of it. I would have thought they would be advertising that it is on there. Even Sky rarely get a big film release after 8 months. The New release and recently added sections do need some attention. When NF have a new release it is just placed randomly halfway down the listings. It should be first and then the next new release should be added before it. And why are titles referred to as new releases and/or recently added for months on end? The House At The End Of The Street has been on Netflix for about four months but is still showing as a new release!

Update: The Hobbit is now showing up under recently added in Adventure and Sci Fi categories but over halfway along. Surely it should be put first as its the latest addition.

I don't bother with Brazil or Mexico because of the forced subs. It's funny because I would rather watch a foreign film with subs than dubbed, but for some reason it bugs me when I there are subtitles when the film is English.

Watched Olympus Has Fallen with the family last night and the subs didn't really bother us at all.
The only slight issue was when there was spoken foreign language and not knowing what they were saying due to no english subs for those instances.

Sorry. I think I was getting it mixed up with Cabin In The Woods for some reason. I must have watched House At The End Of The Street on Canada or USA Netflix!

I don't get why they've snuck The Hobbit onto the UK Netflix library with little fanfare...it's a pretty big catch, tbh.

Am guessing most Breaking Bad fans are already aware of this but I'll mention it anyway.

The 2nd half of the last season of Breaking Bad starts in the US tonight and each episode will be available on Netflix UK once it's been broadcast in the US (ie on Monday mornings).

It is rather strange why there was no big fuss about the "hobbit" appearing on Uk Netflix, I would of thought Sky were lining that up for their Xmas schedule!

In two minds whether to see this myself heard it was a bit of a borefest, which could be why it's on NF already?

I found it a bit boring tbh but then I wasn't all that keen on Lord of the Rings.
