I found it a bit boring tbh but then I wasn't all that keen on Lord of the Rings.
LOTR had it's day didn't it, the problem is what will fill the void after the masterpiece that is Breaking Bad?

I can see Netflix going for it with Sky when the movie rights are up for grabs again tbh.
Netflix has come on leaps and bounds over the last year and continue to get better.

I've just spotted a Danish TV Comedy Drama called Rita on Netflix UK. It is absolutely hilarious and comes highly recommended.

Hey everyone, so I have had netflix for a while and have recently started using unblock us, and this has opened up a whole world of content for me, almost blowing my mind a bit. There are so many programmes I am interested in watching. I am just curious what do people find to be the "best" region. So far I am swayed towards USA. I find it slightly irritating to keep switching so am trying to find one region and then stick to it, then I search through other regions and find other good content...

What I am asking are what programmes do you recommend for me and my wife to watch? To give you some kind of idea I am up to date with breaking bad, game of thrones etc. we have just started watching supernatural and its okay. But I see so many things on here that we have never watched but are interested in, things like sons of anarchy, the walking dead, house of cards, orange is the new black, mad men, dexter, and the list goes on.

I am looking for a few shows that will really get us hooked, if anyone feels I am missing out by just sticking to the USA region then please say. Also has anyone had sky before and then cancelled off the back of Netflix. I am tempted

Thanks

Trouble i have at the moment is i watch UK netflix through my WDTV live box but the remote is just to slow ive even changed batteries but thats not helped, the only other option is my PS3 but then the fan on that starts to get loud. Im interested in unblock US but i dont thjink i would be able to use that with WDTV live or would i, currently my Broadband is with BT and using a HH4. Id much prefer to get more regions than just the UK.

Id also like to know why the WDTV live is so slow browsing netflix takes ages compared to on the PS3, is there any way you can log out of netflix on WDTV live.

Are you following the instructions on the Unblockus website and after changing the DNS settings on the WDTV, going to the Unblockus website and clicking the 'check service status' button?

Which model of the WDTV is it?

I have a WDTV as well and yes, it's slow to broswe (as is the remote slow to use) so I chose what to watch on the PC then go to the WDTV live box and search for what I've chosen and then watch it. I've plugged a keyboard into it to make it easier to type.

I've got a Yamaha amp and the remote for that works on my wdtv for some reason - I can even pause, fast forward etc from it. It's equally slow though, so its not the remote but the wdtv box.

Here's what I do.

I install Playon on my PC (google it) and that allows the wdtv to play content selected in Unblock US - American, Canadian etc.

I can then watch the normal UK netflix content using the built in wdtv netflix channel but I can also load Playon (which comes with a netflix app) and view any other regions content through that (as long as you have selected the region you want to watch through unblock us).

If you get Playon you can also view other American content such as Hulu etc as long as you have the US region selected in Unblock US.

Playon will also allow you to stream content to a PS3 etc.

You can be in a hotel and stream US content from your computer at home to a tablet or phone (or any other device) which was quite handy during my holidays! You can also stream your own local media and it will work over 3g and the internet.

I hope you get what I mean. It's worth checking out the Playon site to see exactly what it does and it's dead easy to setup.

Sorry to go on about Playon again but with the Playon Android app you could also stream content from your phone if it has hdmi out.

Whilst I get what ur saying guys I got the wdtv live to watch Netflix as well as BBC iPlayer which works great with, I can't be doing with turning my pc on just to stream content and besides my PC is 6 years old and slow as hell. The wdtv live is a good device but this really Lets it down, to have a slow remote like it has is really bad. The only other option is my ps3 but whenever I turn that on it sdounds like an aeroplane taking off. Can't be waiting another 2 months for a ps4, think will just buy an roku device should have done that first time.

You could just cut your loses and get yourself a Roku box. It doesn't cost much and should be snappy enough. You will also have Demand 5 and who knows, maybe ITV and 4oD will eventually appear on it.

If you want to use unblockus with a Roku box, you will have to change the DNS settings in your router, as you can't change DNS settings in the Roku itself.

Loads of people use Unblockus with the WDTV, so don't understand why it isn't working for you. Mine is the latest version 'WD TV Live Streaming Media Player' if that makes a difference.

Well there are 3 types of WDTv models The play version media player live and wdtv live which i have. I cant fault the wdtv live for streaming content from my external hard drive its brilliant, but the only option i have for netflix is wdtv and bottom line is simply to slow to browse i even was gonna download the app but that got bad reviews. Im assuming with unblockus you can access any region with netflix even though my account is UK.

That's correct by changing the region selector on the website it allows access to that selected region on compatible devices
