The Digital Spy Apprentice - Series 2 - Now Recruiting!
With the newest series of The Apprentice about to start, my friends and I have decided it's time to revive an old classic - the Digital Spy Apprentice game! The first series of this took place in June/July of last year, and it went fantastically; it was a ton of fun and it gained a lot of interest from other forum members.
The basic format of the game is as follows: 10-12 DS members compete in teams (whilst, of course, shining as individuals) to win tasks set by the game's Lord Sugar. Last year, these tasks ranged from coming up with an all-new DS forum game to finding ultra-cheap items across the web and creating a marketing plan for an up-and-coming artist. This year, although the tasks will follow much the same format, the game will be much longer-running - we've decided to have just one task a week instead of 2-3, to make it easier on the participants. So far we have a Lord Sugar (me), advisors, and several brilliant candidates, but I'm posting this because we want to recruit the best of DS to take part in our game. If you're interested in becoming a candidate, please PM me with a few sentences about yourself and why you'd be the perfect Apprentice! We're hoping to start the series around the start of April, so if you're at all interested, please let me know asap. And of course, if you'd like to find out more about how the series works, you can check out a couple of threads from the past series: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1492459 http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1492864 http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1493251 |

To anyone else interested, we're still accepting applications, so please keep them coming. |

We still have, like, two spaces open if anyone's interested! It's proven to be really popular (and trust me, it is way fun), but we're planning to start relatively soon, so don't hesitate if you want to take part.
