Lana's album was the last one i was genuinely excited for before that it was Lykke Li.

Kate Bush - 50 Words For Snow. Genuine legend, unlike so many.

I remember getting super excited when I bought Madonnas Erotica when it came out, then feeling abit let down, cos only half of it was passable (I HATE new jack swing!).

I bought the Sex book too, though these days I use the metal cover as an ashtray. Its best use yet!
Totally agree. I could not wait to get home form work to listen to Erotica, i was disappointed. Not as disappointed as 2 years later when Bedtime Stories came out, i was crushed that day.

On the plus side i could not wait to get Confessions to such an extent i went to Asda on the Sunday before release to say i was coming back in just after midnight and could they have a copy waiting on me. Asda were brilliant and my copy was waiting on me.

I am not as excited about MDNA. I hope it's a good-un but not expecting it.

I just wish she had Rihanna's work ethic. At this rate we'll be waiting until 2015 for a new album

She is having another baby, i hope this pregnancy goes better for her. But agree new album sooner rather than later would be nice.

I was genuinely obsessed with Chinese Democracy. Couldn't believe it when it was finally given a release date.

Unlike some people, I wasn't disappointed by it either. Best album ever? Nah, it was never going to be - it wasn't even going to be GNR's best record. But a stonking slice of modern hard-rock/metal that sounds unlike anything else out there? Certainly lived up to that in my book.
