What a joke, really. I guess some people have different criteria of a good mom than me.

As its celebrity mum of the year, one assumes they all have nannies, but my personal view is that Katie is a great mum. Its also great that a mum of a disabled child was a winner. Although Samantha Cameron was a nominee, her husband would have hampered any votes she would have got.

Her nannies should have won!!

But of course it helps that the winner is always desperate enough to have to come and collect the trophy.

Personally "mum of the year" is not someone who breaks up with one man, invites another in very very quickly, introduces him to her children and marries him not even a year later before splitting up before the first wedding anniversary.

Nor is it someone who buggers off abroad with the latest beau at the drop of a hat leaving her children at home.

My pregnant dog is a better and more maternal mother than Jordan!!

It's the FOXY BINGO celeb mum of the year.

Hardly a ringing endorsement from the British public.

Does this mean she was the only one who could actually be arsed to turn up to collect the award, then?

Lol, this is hilarious. I wonder will this take the tarnish and credibility off the much lauded "Dad of the Year" prize?! What ever would DOTY Pete's fans say?

I'm sure she's picking a "suitable" outfit for the footpath photocall. Something crotchtacular and boobtastic (with those nasty over the knee boots) from her own range, no doubt.

Proof, if it were ever needed that these Whatever of the Year awards are a pointless sham.

Although, when Pete wins the DOTY threefer in a few weeks, it will have reverted to being a highly coveted, much deserved, Mayo Lid of parental approval.

And SamCam would have more self respect than to need a tacky award from a gambling website to validate her parental abilities.

The children always look happy, healthy and loved. Both parents must be doing something right. Well done Katie.

Not sure why people get so worked up about this... people have a fit about them being in the press. Yet all they do is talk about them.

Look down the forum, it's thread after thread about Katie Price and Peter Andre... then people f*cking wonder why they will never go away

They are now equals in the DOTY/MOTY stakes.

So either we must all acknowledge that these two are examples of superior above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty parenting... OR - this is final proof (not that it was ever needed) that these awards are a complete load of unutterable barrel-scraping (or should that be tub-scraping) shite devised solely by the sponsors for cheap-as-chips PR.

Marg lids all round.

Those awards were always completely meaningless rubbish, weren't they! The fact that fans of both take this stuff seriously, and indeed PA and KP themselves, is a joke. I'm hoping the day will come where being a good dad/mum will be measured by how you protect, care for and nurture your children (in private) and not how many magazine/tabloid photos of them you can secure, or how many hours of TV footage of them doing private activities during their tenders years you can sell to ITV, or how many flipping marge lids you get telling you you're DOTY/MOTY!

Who exactly makes this bulls*it up? Considering how she treated Andre shows how she shouldnt of even been in the top 10 seeing as she cant leave him alone.

2011 Celebrity B*tch of the year most deffinately with denise Welsh coming in a close second.

Katie Price has five nannies and her mother helping out, so she doesn't exactly have much to do.

Great example of a mother. I seem to recall she wasn't only smoking during her preganancy with Harvey but getting falling-down drunk and taking drugs. She shouldn't be allowed near children, let alone be awarded Mother of the Year.
