The notification alert on this model only goes off once, unlike my LG which would repeat the alert notification until I turned it off or it stopped after 10 minutes.

I've looked through the manual and can find no way of making the notification repeat itself until I turn it off which means if I'm out of earshot of the phone I don't hear the single notification and could potentially miss appointments.

I've looked at some of the calendar apps available but I can't seem to find out (before downloading them) if they have a repeat notification facility.

Does anyone know of a way my built-in calendar can be made to repeat notifications or know of a free android calendar app that can be set for repeat notifications. I'm not looking for a fancy calendar with lots of facilities just something simple that will tell me when an appointment is due and keeps on telling me until I turn it off.
