He takes it well.”

Murderers got a better deal. recently..in the news.Jermaine's crime wasn't as serious as that!

Skylar...shouting a tad...didn't like her performance at all....4/10

Skylar always does well, but it's a bit samey now. I fear I may get bored of the typical 'simple country girl' style.

She's a bit too similar to Lauren Alaina. I'm not sure she'll do as well as her.

Maybe Josh will do that. No, not that song. He's gonna tear roof down....well let's see. Sounds ok so far, dislike the song though, but like his voice..

9/10 for voice and style

This song from Joshua shouldn't be allowed with this theme. Having said that he is amazing and this is by far the best performance of the night. Finally a good performance - Go Joshua !

He certainly put his all into it but it is a song that I know so well I can't help but compare it with the original (which I prefer) but I have no doubt that he has set a few pulses racing.

I was brilliant at the run through, amazing on stage.

I love that song, love Joshua.

Great by Joshua. He is a great performer and has got a lot of soul and feeling when he channels it right. I prefer that song with a bit more restraint, but it was still a great job

Probably why she was chosen to compete. My favourite female country& western singer was Dolly Parton, and all her songs were sang differently, but can't see Skylar doing that. To me Skylar seems to be going down a one way street...to nowhere...imo Hope she changes though for her own sake.

Hollie...1983......gosh, that's one fabulous song....come on Hollie do it justice....not bad at all...10/10 for the song. The music is a bit off....made it to the top note..bit wobbly, but did like it....9/10

As I'm following the thread but not watching TV, can someone tell me the song Joshua just sang

Being trusted with closing the show she was obviously going to be good, but woah Hollie really is impressing more and more.

Seemed very comfortable onstage too.

Hollie is really going through the divas with this week being Celine Dion. Another good performance from her, she has a really big voice for being so petit. Overall not a good episode imo except for Joshua who was great. Don't think Jimmy's advice has helped that much!

My week’s ranking: (last week's)
1. Hollie Cavanagh (4)
2. Colton Dixon (10)
3. Joshua Ledet (3)
4. Phillip Phillips (5)
5. Jessica Sanchez (1)
6. Elise Testone (11)
7. Skylar Laine (2)
8. Erika Van Pelt (7)
9. Heejun Han (8)
10. Shannon Magrane (13)
11. Deandre Brackensick (9)

I try and base it on whose performance I would actually want to hear again.

He certainly did, I was awestruck just listening and watching him....hope he stays cos I want to hear more of him. At end of his performance I shouted aloud Hallelujah! Punching the air and all that stuff.
