The Wanted's second U.S single is....
Shadow2009

'Gold Forever'.

Seems odd they're going for a charity novelty track (the instrumental is classic Comic Relief) for a single in America. Don't think it'll do well at all, but I like it alot more than 'Glad You Came' anyway.

I wouldn't say it was a novelty but stands to reason All Time Low their other number one which had bigger sales and success and is a better song should be released

Surely they'll have to film a new video for it as the UK one has them messing about with red noses.

Third... All Time Low was their first, and they remixed it for the U.S release. Managed to get a copy of the remix of it, and it's actually really good.

i still think `all time low` is their best song so far and surely that is the obvious follow up single. apparently not, i cant see `gold forever` matching the success of `glad you came` or further strengthening their position in the US.

That's a very random single choice, agreed. I would have chosen Lightning personally.

Seriously? Oh god! I think they should've went for Invincible or a new song I don't want them to change the video for the US! I love the GF video.

I guess its better than them releasing Heart Vacancy though

I do like Gold Forever, but I think they should release All time low instead. They are very popular over there though.

shouldnt we worry more about what they release over here?..maybe it will be remixed though and uk fans can get the new mix?

Surely it should be 'Lightening'? Their only song that sounds like it could be another hit. Or maybe they should have went with a new song.

Terrible song choice for the US. I fear them becoming a one hit wonder if this release goes ahead. It's actually one of their poorest singles to date despite the successful chart position in the UK. As others have pointed out Lightning and All Time Low would be great choices.

I feel that is a bad choice.
Also, it was a charity song 2 years ago, theres no need really.

Pretty sure they've said it's just part of the iTunes countdown for their album. As far as I know it's just a promotional single, not a proper one.
