I also really would like to see something special from Colton. He's been OK so far, but not outstanding, so maybe he can join the horses next week

My favourite is Colton now. And I also love Skylar.

I don't think Elise will last for much longer seeing as she's been in the bottom three twice now

Well I got used to seeing my favorites get eliminated :P (Casey and James last year and this year I liked Jen Hirsh and Reed Grimm more than the top 10). But Elise received great feedback from the judges and Jimmy Iovine and great reaction from the judges when she was on bottom 3 this time, so I hope they'll change things a little bit to her favor

Colton even more so after this week! The studio version of his song was awesome and this shows what a great recording voice he will have

Only other ones close are Erika (thats going well isnt it) and Phillip

Though after what ive seen is the theme this week i worry for a lot of them lol

Hollie has definitely been the surprise star so far.

Joshua

I voted for Skylar but my favourite performance from this week was Elise. Its worrying that she was in trouble again. Either her or Erika will go in the next couple of weeks and maybe that will help the one that remains.

Colton for me - I think he has a wonderful voice for the type of music he enjoys singing. He's also the most relevant contestant (Philip aside) this year.

Of the others, Hollie is great, but like the other contestants, it's just more of the same type of vocal we get every year. I'd love to see a more modern type artist win this year.

Joshua seems head & shoulders above the rest to me. Jessica's good too, I felt the judges deliberately clipped her wings this week in their overly robust critique. Still, now she's got the uptempo number out of the way, she can resume what she's best at. I have warmed to Deandre too, although this week's song didn't show him at his best.

Not getting the Hollie love-in in this forum... She sounds distinctly old-fashioned to me, and while she hits the big notes is no good at the rest, as if hitting the big notes to Celine and Barbara records was all she ever tried to emulate. She has shown no interpretive skills, nothing that makes her stand out as an original, so that to my ears she comes across as karaoke.

It's a hard choice between Phillip and Colton. I love Phillip's tone but Colton was better last night.

Elise. Hands down.

Though I do also like Philip, Hollie, Joshua and Colton.

Joshua keeps getting really praised by the judges, but I don't think he'll have the popularity to win tbh. idk if America will love him all that much. I think he is great, but the judges are slightly overrating him right now, and I don't think it'll do him any good.

Also, I'm surprised that Jessica is getting not as much love anymore. That normally happens though when like, someone is loved so much in the beginning, it gets hard for them to keep their popularity until the end. We see it happen every year with someone in whatever show.

Joshua by a country mile. I had goosebumps

I was a touch too eager voting in the poll before I'd actually seen the results show. Fortunately I didn't notice exactly who was missing.
I voted Hollie as the best performance of the week, but I have also enjoyed Joshua and Jessica's performances the most overall aswell.
However I also have a soft-spot for Heejun.

Phillip, I really like Joshua too. I think Colton will win it though!

I'm not really mad about females, I usually favour the male contestants. This year it's Joshua

The only year my favourite was a female it was Fantasia

My favourite was Jermaine. Oh well! The remaining contestants that I like are Deandre, Jessica, Elise, and Heejun. Joshua was very good this week - having by far the best song helped - but overall I have not liked him as much as the judges have.

My favourites are Philip and Colton.

Joshua clearly has a good voice but personally I like the acts who have something a little different about them. Joshua, for me, is a little dull. I get bored during his performances.

I can't help but love Heejun too.

Hollie and Philip. Like Heejun too. Thought the judges were quite harsh on him last week.

Elise has the standout voice for me.

Philip & Colton for me, they have strong musical identities and seem to know exactly where they want to go, not sure about the rest, Elise is a very good singer, so is Jessica but she leaves me cold, very technical, no heart.
