Little Boots will be releasing her second album later in the year and Im wondering if her new material will be as good as her previous e.g New In Town, Remedy.

They always say the second album is live or die for the artist and im just hoping it's a success and has some really good tunes.

Little Boots had a song on Youtube a few months ago called Shake. It was mentioned by Simon James on Imagine FM but I never heard it played on the radio. It is her birthday 7 weeks today and guess what? I have the day off work!! Hopefully Fi Sadler will play New in Town that afternoon.

I can't wait for the new album Hands was one of my favourite albums of 2009. Actually come to think of it 2009 wasn't a bad year for music, well it wasn't for me anyway

mine too! Gr8 songs, gr8 production & I preferred her kooky image to alot of her contemporaries at the time.

Her music reminds me of Roisin Murphy a little bit.

Little Boots is a fantastic artist...i really hope her second full album takes off bigger than Hands.

Hands was one o my fave albums of 2009 too....very retro SYnthpop and dark grooves. Cannot wait to hear what kinda influenced sounds she will have on her follow up.

Tbh i dont think she will be a "sophomore slump" kind aartist as her debut album was never a massive commercial success...so personally for her i want her to continue with her artistic drive and show it all off basically.

She has a lovely voice too. But her Tenori-On deserves its own appreciation thread...i want one!
