I only know him from "Valerie" which was a horrible over rated song by the Zutons, and Amy, but then he gave it a much needed lease of life and it became a timeless classic.

I agree, Valerie is one of the best songs Amy sang, no respect to the Zutons but I feel their version is quite slow and dreary.
This is the only Mark Ronson song I enjoy and enjoy is an understatement, I'm obsessed with it. It's the CSS remix version of Record Collection, so much better than the album version.
I briefly liked him around 2007 when he released "Version" but not so much anymore. I also remember buying "Here Comes the Fuzz" and listening to it all of about once.

That was only one of his three albums.
I couldn't get into Version, but I really like Record Collection. I haven't heard much from his first album, but it sounds like the sort of thing I'd enjoy. I need to get round to it sometime.
Hasn't he done one of the official Olympic anthems with Katy B? I saw a programme about it a few weeks ago.

Yes he has and here's a clip of the Coca Cola Olympic advert
