They didn't do covers, they made their own music, and tracks like "I Need You" brought some much needed refreshment into the charts. They were certainly the "New Order" of their short time.

I am disapointed that this has been overlooked by many. I remember when Take That first split there was even helplines setup for fans.

I only ever enjoyed their very early stuff, when I was in my last couple of years in school. I lost interest when they went all pop. Dappy's solo stuff doesn't sound any different though so it's hardly a great loss.

I'm heartbroken, it'll be tough to get through the night but I think the knowledge that they are establishing solo careers will get me through it.

This is the best news ive had all week, now we can just have Tulisa and her amazing pop songs, the other two always dragged her down and made her seem less talented because they were so crap.

I somehow think that instead of setting up a helpline, they should allow all their fans s get together somewhere to console each other. The phone box near me is empty at the moment.
I take it op your post is tounge in cheek.

Certainly is a bleak time as now there will be three times the crap released when they all go solo!

Also, I presume you were joking with the New Order comment........

How can it be a bleak day for music . The death of legends like Gary Moore, Clarence clemons e.t.c is when the term bleak day for music is needed.
