I recently bought a Hannspree Hannspad (SN10T130 1653) which I like a lot but am quite disapointed that the Android 2.2 it comes with lacks certain Android features, most crucially for me, the Android market (or google play as it is now known).

I have read that the tablet can run Honeycomb very well and this also allows the true Android Market to be accessed. I have tried to find a guide to doing this but I just cannot seem to find a complete start to finish guide that is written in clear plain to understand terms. Does such a beast exist?

I have a high level of computer knowledge and would have no problem in following a good step by step guide that makes things clear.

I really would like to upgrade this tablet as the included (fake) market place is missing a lot of the apps of the real one and doesn't appear to be getting any continued support.

Thanks, managed to get Honeycomb on just fine, when you know what commands to use on the tablet i.e. to access it's update mode and get the files you need it is very easy, little more than copying some files from A to B.

It seems to run Honeycomb just fine, initially I was a little concerned it would be slow as the information says that you lose the hardware acceleration in honeycomb (it only supports it on 2.2) but surprisingly it seems just as quick in Honeycomb and has no problem even with some quite demanding tasks such as high quality video streaming.
