DVD to AVI
A good few years ago, somebody kindly put some VHS footage onto DVD. I now want to rip these DVDs onto AVI. What is the best, easiest, cheapest software out there for my needs? Thanks.

assuming they are not copy protected and by avi you mean divx/xvid with MP3 audio (avi is just a container like say zip) then you could do worse than AutoGK
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/autogk.htm though there are a lot of things that will do it. freemake video converter is pretty straight forward too. |
