Round 1 - got the recent ones on the first board (1st female PM, fall of Berlin Wall and Scottish Parliament). Guessed rationing ended in the 1940s...was a decade out on that and Lumiere Bros. On the second board I got 1st test tube baby, England win WC, Queen Vic and Hong Kong. Decade out on Krakatoa and women's emancipation. I'm normally on shaky ground when history comes up but I like the challenge.

Round 2 - tizzy was my trump card. Couldn't think of that many obscure ones.

H2H - got Mercury and Mandy in the 'tache round. Gutted at missing Daley Thompson.

Got 5/5 in the TOTP round, and I'd only watched since the early 90s.

Brain froze in the anagrams round, only got Athens and Rome before the contestant jumped in. Surprised that Athens was best. Played Countdown for ages but still not that quick on conundrums.

Final round - consciously avoided SJP and MB films, only Godzilla and the SATC films sprang to mind. Failure to Launch rang a bell.
