Lol, I guess if you repeated anything enough times it would get 8 or 9 million.
![]() Worth noting that it's only really 3 screenings (Friday ITV1, Sunday ITV2 and Tuesday ITV1). The other 3 are the +1 showings. |

Good old ITV overkill,
Broadcast says that the Benidorm episode from March 2nd ended up with 9.6m viewers from all its showings across the week, although I would think you might need to take off a couple of hundred thousand for people who watched it more than once, of which there have to be a few just by law of averages. |

when it comes to the soap, EE may not be doing well, but the other soaps are not doing much better.

The big losers are the Aussie ones. Home and Away and Neighbours attract about the tenth of the audience they had 20 years ago. However, they are a vital part of the schedule for Channel 5 and 1.7 million for Neighbours is good for them. |

ok so Emmerdale isnt under preforming, but Corrie isnt looking great either.
TBH I wonder if Desmond would save Neighbours, if it fell out of favour in the UK. and ELEVEN wanted to axe it. |

Channel 4 & 5 would repeat it within peak time, about 47 hours later than original showing on average!

Tottenham v Bolton live on ESPN: Match abandoned after a player collapsed on the pitch.
I hope he's ok. It sounds very serious indeed.

ESPN have now left White Hart Lane, and are showing a David Beckham documentary in its place.
For what it's worth, I thought commentator Jon Champion handled the situation of the collapse of footballer Fabrice Muamba very professionally. I personally don't find "We all fear the worst but are hoping for the best" insensitive, its what a lot of people watching live would have been thinking. |

I've been watching Sky News ever since waiting for an update, but I'm also dreading that news coming in, in case it's bad.

it certainly doesn't seem offensive, and lets face it saying the right thing at that moment is next to impossible. very hard for anyone to get it right. Im sure the folks on Twitter were using all of Twitters usual tact in their comments.

I don't think ITV could've done much more considering the current situation - no title music for the FA Cup highlights and they went straight into the Fabrice Muamba story without preamble, then showed the two goals only. I don't think they should've showed film of the crowd looking upset but other than that they couldn't have done much more.

ITV1 have also changed their schedule - the FA Cup highlights programme is only 30 minutes in length tonight. The Cube takes over the slot at 11pm.

I was expecting the BBC to cut the MOTD theme tonight but anyway they said what needed to be said with some reaction from Hansen & Lawerson and moved on, like ITV thats all they could do really. Lets hope we hear some good news in the morning.

As for Titanic, not the best way to watch a three hour film with all the distractions of Christmas Day. Avatar should pull in a decent audience, I imagine there are a few people who hasn't seen it or want to watch it again. |

I never got why BBC One put Titanic on Christmas Day, if they wanted to do well, it should have been Boxing Day. Nevertheless the film surprisenly pulls in a decent audience, it did 2m on Channel 4 and 1.6m on Channel 5 and with ad breaks, it's almost 4 hours!

Such is the confidence ITV have in Jonathan Ross they have moved him to a 10.20 pm ''graveyard'' slot next Saturday.
The Voice will start at 7 pm on BBC1 and BGT at 8 pm on ITV so there will be a 20-minute overlap. |

For those watching the Beeb later, I won't spoil the F1 result.
Great start in my opinion for Sky Sports F1, David Croft and Martin Brundle worked perfectly well together and if David remembers he is now on the telly (and not with Radio 5Live or Ladbrokes) he will realise enthusiasm is good, shouting less so. A lot more positives than negatives to the coverage. The race on Sky was commercial-free (hello ITV1). Sky Digital had a bundle of options to choose from in how to watch the race. That's modern technology for you. EDIT: However, the red button isn't on Virgin Media "until later in the season". http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/5...pshot24392.jpg |

Louise Redknapp has turned up for BBC2's last ever Something For The Weekend. (Tim and Simon are moving to Channel 4).

Sam Hodges:
- An average audience of 4.3m saw Wales win the Six Nations - BBC1 programmes had higher average audiences than all other channels in every slot yesterday (exc +1s) John Williams: - A peak audience of 4.2m watched MOTD |

The Zone came on really early last night at 12am on ITV they could have put a film on.
Ended up watch a family guy DVD in the end which was the only thing I watched on TV all day yesterday. |
