Million Pound Drop absolutely needs to go back to the stripped format it launched with. A one or two week run stripped across the week at 9 or 10 is perfect for it. Or it would be if C4 could resist the urge to bring it back every other week. It also makes it feel much more like a big event rather than being stranded in a dead weekend slot.

The shows producers have been stressing that they intend to solve the shows central mysteries by the end of the second season. Mainly that seems to be a counter to the mountain of negative press they got for the season one finale. Its actually amazing to consider how much press a show that was struggling to break 2 million viewers live produced.

“Mad Men I think they're planning to end in two years but I think with The Walking Dead being so big, AMC isn't going too worry too much and I imagine they're developing new shows at the moment.”
I know this is far from a popular opinion but AMC should have let Mad Men die with its fourth season or at least let it be known that they were willing to do that. The deal they signed to keep a poorly rated show alive was staggeringly bad business. They've tied far too much money up with Mad Men at this point and its had a negative impact not only on their development slate (which appears to have becoming worryingly stalled) but also their other shows.

“Starz has Magic City on April 6th but whether it'll be successful remains to be seen, looks good though.”
And already renewed for a second season so they'll be hoping it does well. I still think Starz need to sit down and really focus on creating a clearer identity for themselves and their original content because its a bit all over the place at the moment and hard to pin down. Given the relative success of Spartacus I think their best bet might be to hone in on the more over the top almost comic book come to life dramas. But it seems like they're trying to find something that will get them some Emmy love.
