I think it was around 1995 because she seemed to be in Evita mode, it's rare Madonna cries in interviews ain't it? So I've wanted to know what was said in that interview that upset her so.

Awwwwww that's so sweet! Bless them all

check out the two i posted...watch the Oprah first and then the Weird Al i recommend..to put a smile back on yer face after.

Yeah i think thats why people judge her so freakin harshly...Madonna rarely showcases too much emotion...she is a warrior you know...she cannot let a guard down. I love that about her. You learn a lot from it.

Aw the Oprah one was so beautiful, it's so amazing that Madonna stayed so committed to that girl, talking to her every day! And yay for Mrs Fellows!

Haha the Weird Al was funny too, "name three people you haven't slept with"..."that's a tough question"

‎"TURN UP THE RADIO" - Full Lyrics

When the world starts to get you down
And nothing seems to go your way
And the noise of the maddening crowd
Makes you feel like you’re going to go insane

There’s a glow of a distant light
Calling you to come outside
To feel the wind on your face and your skin
And it’s here I begin my story

Turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

It was time that I opened my eyes
I’m leaving the past behind
Nothing’s ever what it seems
Including this time and this crazy scene

I’m stuck like a moth to a flame
I’m so tired of playing this game
I don’t know how I got to this state
Let me out of my cage cause I’m dying
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

I just wanna get in my car
I wanna go fast and I gotta go far
Don’t ask me to explain how I feel
‘Cause I don’t want to say where I’m going

Turn down the noise and turn up the volume
Don’t have a choice cause the temperatures pounding
Leaving this place is the last thing I do
That I want to escape with a person just like you

I’m so sick and tired of playing this game
We gotta have fun it it’s all that we do
Gotta shake up the system and break all the rules
Gotta turn up the radio until the speakers blow

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
There’s somethings you don’t need to know
Just let me turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Just let me turn up the radio
Just let me turn up the radio"

Beautiful Killer is a solid snippet, definitely not my favourite! That award goes to I'm Addicted or Gang Bang. Can anyone else feel a Die Another Day vibe from Beautiful Killer?

Most definetly reminiscent of die another day. It seems that the songs on MDNA have many parallels with other madonna tracks.

Does anyone know when the Girl Gone Wild vid is going to be released?

Agreed....

Masterpiece - you'll see/take a bow
GMAYL - early Madonna, borderline
Beautiful Killer - Die another Day
Girl Gone Wild - sorry, celebration
I don't give a - American Life rockier version

I do hope that Girl Gone Wild video gets a high profile premiere like idol or something, as I see that the single and remixes cd have leaked all over the place. It seems that the promo for the album is going well.... But the singles are low key. Maybe the video will change this.

I love it! It takes me back to the days of American Life. It's simple with acoustic guitar. I tend to like her more pop stuff, rather than the harder club thumping tracks so I love it. The lyrics are very honest and confessional also.

I love it! Love how the tempo picks up towards the end. And yes the lyrics are very personal.

Yep I'm in the "I love it" camp too. Her vocals are strong, clear and emotional and the simple melody is welcome. The lyrics are good and there's no guessing who the songs about!

However, the bit I like is the fact that the whole song gives you the impression she is revealing her regrets and making apologies. But right at the very end she sings "Perhaps we can be together again some day" then very abrubtly she says "Or not!" Genius! So she's not bothered at all and the song I Don't Give A becomes relevant!

The part where the tempo picks up reminds me of Drowned World/Substitute for Love from ROL. That also starts slow and then picks up. I love that song!

I can soooo see this being included in an acoustic guitar section of the tour.

Beautiful song but if it becomes a single it might not get much airplay because of the swearing.

The singles are decided upon I think and this song isn't one of the chosen ones!. But only Madonna can create a song title like I F***ed Up and turn it into a beautiful ballad! It's so bizarre it's fabulous!

Right. Every so often I come up with a hyperthetical idea for a Madonna album. Now MDNA is virtually upon us, I am now imagining her next album.

It is October 2014

Madonna is in Paris, wearing a beautiful tight dress, cleavage slightly revealed but sexily safe in her dress! It is a black dress with red flowers on. On her legs are ankle bracelets and she is looking totally gorgeous. Short hair, straight and looking like Liza Minnelli. This is a 56 year old woman who looks 40! The internet is full of threads suggesting "Madonna is trying too hard to look youthful". The media pick up on the fact that a 56 year old should not be making dance records and even, controversially, on BBC1's Question Time a question "Is it time for Madonna to start acting her age" was light heartedly discussed with a tory MP suggesting it wasn't, a Labour female MP who said she was still an icon for million of women around the world and a Daily Mail reporter suggesting that she is the sperm of satan.

Madonna is in Paris promoting her new album. There is to be no World Tour this time around as Madonna has decided to take 2 years off so that she can mentor her 18 year old daughter who has decided to become a professional dancer.

But between now and Christmas, a number of TV appearances have been arranged and on BBC1, as part of their recent hit "A Sunday Night With....." series, a whole show will be dedicated to Madonna who will perform 4 songs from her new albums.

Her new album is called : Distant Drums and is a cracker!

Like MDNA (the critically acclaimed album of 2012 which has sold 8.2 million copies worldwide) it starts off with a bang!

1) Thunder In The City

A huge dance track produced by Madonna pal William Orbit. In the vein of Music's Runaway Lover but with a beat like Celebration, this is a great album opener. At the end of the song, she sings, without any instrumentation, a psalm before a mighty boom echoes throughout the speakers and we're straight into track 2 which is....

2) Party Time

Another great dance track, not quite as frenetic as track 1, but this time Stuart Price is the co-producer. Remember "Get Together"? Well this is that but on ecstacy!

3) When I Remember Paradise

This is a beautiful, meaningful song which highlights Madonna's maturing vocal style. It is the best ballad she's done since "Falling Free" and this is co-produced by William Orbit and her old collaborator Patrick Leonard.

4) I Feel Like Crying

Another tender ballad. Produced by Patrick Leonard and Stuart Price.

5) If You Trust In Me

After 2 melancholy, but beautiful tracks, the pace quickens! This is a beat laden song that will have you up dancing! Produced by Shep Pettibone and Tony Calderone.

6) Distant Drums

The title track and the UK Number 1 single. It's a belter of a song and the gospel choir are sublime! Another great track produced by Orbit and Leonard.

7) Family Ties

Hooray!!!! After 25 years this is the first Steve Bray and Madonna collaboration. It's very 80's and thank God for that! Great little dance track that won't tire you out!

8) Faith

A church organ opens this song. It starts off like a hymn, with the gospel choir of Distant Drums just humming beautifully in the background! Then it becomes a brilliant jazzy, electro number that will make you put it on repeat for days. Produced by Stuart Price and Patrick Leonard.

9) Where You Are

William Orbit's distinctive beats echo throughout this mid tempo number about her lost love.

10) Bedazzled

A cute, poppy little song, similar in style to "Amazing" but slower. This is the first real sign that the album is coming to an end. Co-produced by Mirwais Ahmadzai.

11) Into the Night

A big band ballad! A first for Madonna but brilliantly executed. Produced by Patrick Leonard.

12) Once There Were Dreams

Now there are memories. A sad song sort of highlighting the stardom Madonna has experienced. A fabulous ballad. Co-produced by William Orbit.

13) The Last Dance

This is by far saving the best until last. A very Abba-esque ballad that will leave you wanting to play the whole album again. A first too as this was co-produced by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. No wonder it sounds Abbaish!

I wrote this originally last night but it seems it was missed! Wanted to know what you guys thought! Wouldn't it be awesome if we were genuinely awaiting the arrival of another new Madonna album! That's the trouble with Madge! We wait ages for an album, it comes and then it's gone. Like Christmas but only with longer intervals in between!

Seems to be only on the Deluxe edition though and I never buy those. 4 quid extra for 4 or 5 extra tracks is a rip-off in my book.

Interesting concept but i wouldn't want her to work with Orbit again. At least not for a few albums. Same with Stuart Price

I think she should work with Chase and Status in the future or Magnetic man

Who are Chase and Status? Don't people have real names anymore? My dream is to have her do an album with Benny and Bjorn from Abba for a WHOLE album! That would be awesome.

Did you know that before "I'm Breathless" came out, Stock Aitken and Waterman approached Madonna to do some stuff with them? She turned them down flat! But she DID work with Robert Miles in 1997 and Ray of Light wouldn't have existed if she had continued with that project. She felt it was "lacklustre and repetitive" so dropped the collaboration!
