Dionne Warwick/Alison Moyet/Joe McElderry!
There is to be a concert at the Albert Hall in aid of World Hunger Day on 28 May. Dionne Warwick is the headliner but there is an interesting line-up as guests.
Alison Moyet, Tony Hadley, Joe McElderry, Boy George, Sandi Shaw - to name a few! This is a great gig for Joe who is the youngest on the bill by miles! Good for him! ![]() Albert Hall |

Obviously it runs in the family. Wasn't Whitney her cousin?

Whitney was her god-daughter I think.

Dionne is Whitney's cousin, Aretha Franklin is Whitney's godmother.

Sounds like a good line up. I'd be tempted to go!

That's ... an eclectic line up certainly. About as random as tonight's lottery numbers.

The tickets are selling fast and most available are in the gods!
It would be a shame if this wasn't broadcast on TV later, or released as a DVD. I would watch/buy. |

Me too! Money would go to the charity and we would get to see some great singers. It would also bring Joe's name forward as one to watch. I am sure that some people still think of him as the 18 year old X-Factor winner whereas he has gone on to sign for Universal and WMEEntertainment - can't be bad!

I've got a ticket for this and I can't wait! I love the line up especially Dionne Warwick, Alison Moyet and Joe McElderry. Good for Joe! I'd really love to hear him duet with either Dionne or Alison as well. This is going to be a fantastic concert.
