it understands "F-off I'm trying to sleep!" sure enough. or maybe it doesn't, and that's why it just comes back for more?

My kitty understands his name Alfie and my silly name for him, alfiedoddles. I think thats quite good for a 11 week old kitten.

Almost like she's trying to pronounce it, surely im not going mad and other cat owners have the same thing? lol”

A few years ago, whilst I had my back to her, I thought I heard my cat say my first name- and I wasn't drunk either!! I looked round to see her looking at me perfectly normally, whilst I stood there with my mouth open

She's never done it since, so i'm guessing it was just a coincidence in the way that she happened to meow that time lol

the only time Murpheyresponds to me is when it has some thing to do with food rattle his food dish or give the dry food bag a good shake are guaranteed to get some reaction. The rest ofthe time he completely ignors you Milley is only slightly better but noit much.

I've just realised my kitty understands the word 'daddy'. As soon as I say where's daddy he jumps onto the window sill and looks down the street for my hubby.

If I say `dinnertime` Giz will go and sit in front of the cupboard where his food is kept - also `bedtime` he`ll head for the stairs.

My only wish is he understood when I say `don`t go near the road` .
