Hi, fellow pet owners!
We've got a problem with our pets. We own four dogs (three chihuahuas and one yorkie) and six cats. Recently we've started having problems - three of our cats have stopped coming in the house as much, because the chihuahuas yap at and chase them - they don't do anything more than that, even if they corner the cat.
The other cats don't have this problem, because in the past when the dogs have tried it on with them they've responded with a hiss and a clout round the face, which means the dogs keep their distance. The cats that get chased are soppier than most, they're more than twice the size of the chihuahuas, FFS!
So, what do we do to stop this before the cats in question are too scared to come in the house at all? We shout "no" and "oi" when we see/hear them kicking off, but by then the cat's already spooked.
