Afternoon All
I really am sorry to have to bother you all again with my lack of technical ability, as some of you will know I bought the above TV this week and I'm trying to set it up to how I had my old TV.
I used to connect my Macbook to the old TV with the Mini DVI-HDMI, but this TV doesn't display the picture. The Macbook changes to a blue screen for a second or two (as it used to when it was connecting to an external display) but nothing happens on the TV, I've tried going into system preferences on the macbook to set up the TV but when I hit the detect displays nothing happens it's like neither the TV nor the Macbook as aware of the connection. I have tried changing the HDMI port and HDMI lead to see if this helped but nothing.
I've also read the TV manual and it says the connection via HDMI is compatible. Tried calling Toshiba, they're closed.
Any help much appreciated.
