The best way for us to watch the show

We have found that the show is so long, so full of adverts, so full of shouting, booing etc etc that hubby and I can't stand watching it any more. However we have our favourites and want to see them go through before we stop watching for good
We record the show and go fast forward through all the crap especially the VT's and this way we see the skating and a bit of the comments but nothing else. We have really enjoyed the weeks we have been doing this

I have been doing this for the last 2 weeks (mainly because I was out when the live show was broadcast) and have found it a much better way of watching the show too. The only VT I watched last week was Chico's.

Same here. Much better way of doing it.

I'm always out every Sunday night till 9pm...I come in, skip most of the VT's (only watching Jorgie) skip most of the comments (except Jorgie) and I'm done by 9.30 for the results.

The way they drag out the show is ridiculous. It could be over in 45 minutes easy.

On the night I follow the live thread on here Sometimes I watch the results, sometimes come back to the thread

I tape the show to watch at my leisure and zip through the ads and Maclean's trailers (which I find extremely irritating)

I prefered DFS 'have a softer landing'

Under the blankets with the television turned off. Two hours of adverts...dross...more adverts....

We use Virgin Media V+ to start watching up to an hour in, and then zap the ads and recaps. We've usually caught up by the end though. The amount of material they use to spin the show out to gain more ad revenue is beyond beleif.

Yes we also start watching the begining about 1/2 an hour after it has started, skip through all the adverts and have caught up by the time it finishes. We do the same with the X Factor.

It's ridiculous having an advert after every act.
