Zaynar - owned by a syndicate headed by Victor Chandler. Triumph Hurdle winner in 2009 & 3rd in the Champion Hurdle the following year.

Trained by Nicky Henderson for both of those efforts but currently on a tour of Devon.

The horse was moved from Lambourn to Nick Williams' stable in April 2011 for a 'change of scenery' and last week he was transferred to David Pipe for another 'change of scenery'.

Lanark Silver Bell....Now run at Hamilton but used to be run on the now defunct Lanark course. Regarded as one of the oldest the oldest known races and offering the oldest trophy.

Pinza - son of Chanteur and Gordon Richards' only Derby winner in 1953.

Named for the Italian bass opera singer Ezio Pinza.

Russian Trigger - won the Midlands Grand National in March 2009.

In so doing the horse landed a record Scoop6 bonus pool of 3.2m for 14 winning ticket holders at 227k per line.

The Tretrarch - (1911 1935) was an undefeated Irish Thoroughbred racehorse and an influential sire, who was voted Britain's Two-Year-Old of the 20th Century.
