Brigadier Gerard. The only horse to win the 2,000 Guineas, the St. James Palace Stakes, the Sussex Stakes and the QEII Stakes in the same year until Frankel did it 40 years later.

Gabrial. If you see a horse with this in its name somewhere its very likely to be owned by Dr.Marwan Koukash, who often names his horses after members of his family. Examples include Gabrial's Kaka, Gabrial the thug and Angel Gabrial
Koukash, Marwan - owner with quite a lot of horses.

Last year he ran them 714 times for a total of 101 wins gaining over £1m in prize money.

Ulzana's Raid - 4-y-o gelding trained by Alan King. Got off the mark in a bumper at Towcester in May.

Named after a brutal 1972 Robert Aldrich western starring Burt Lancaster.
