Kneller was also the name of a good stayer trained by Henry Cecil and winner of the Doncaster Cup and the Jockey Club Cup in 1988.

Walkover. The term originates from the Jockey Club rules whereby if there was only one horse left entered in a race it had to 'walk over' the course before being awarded victory. Quite a common thing when there was no prize money outside the winner and Eclipse was awarded 9 such races as he was seen as being unbeatable.
