And for something even older than me

RoXana.

Early 18c gee-gee, a time when I'd never have thought the name even existed.

Empery - French trained 1976 Derby winner owned and bred by Nelson Bunker Hunt.

NBH and his brother tried to corner the world silver market in the 1970s but suffered a massive loss when the price went south following an amendment to the exchange rules.

Major B. Hornung, substantial owner whose trainer I can't recall, possibly Peter Nelson who was also a major and for whom Henry Cecils twin brother was once assistant before becoming a short-lived trainer.

Quids In - 1958 mare by Souverein.

Also quids in is the aforementioned Owen Oyston. From the £21m profit made by my beloved Blackpool last year Oyston was paid £11m as salary and the rest went to various companies in which he has an interest.

One for TC.

Saratoga, New York. Opened in 1863 it is the oldest race course in the US and is nicknamed the Graveyard of Champions as Man o' War suffered his only defeat there in 21 starts and Secretariat was also beated there after winning the US Triple Crown.
