Three Legs - US filly foaled 1990.
Never raced, possibly because she only had three legs. |

Sporting Yankee, aptly named colt being owned by William Hill Racing Limited. The highlight of the career of the son of Vaguely Noble was winning the Racing Post Trophy in 1976 when William Hill began their sponsorship of the race which was then known as the Futurity Stakes.

Zoffany - Aiden O'Brien colt beaten only ¾ length by Frankel in last year's St James's Palace Stakes.
Put up another fine performance when failing by a head to land the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly the following month. Disappointing thereafter & now at stud. |

Dimble - Zimbabwean filly foaled 1992.
I'd like to report that Dimble is by Statistician out of Prediction but alas it would be a lie. |

Gatwick Racecourse - open for business from 1891 to 1940 after which it was requisitioned by the Air Ministry.

Keeneland - horse racing and thoroughbred sales operation in Lexington, Kentucky.
The conservatively managed Keeneland was the last racecourse in the US to broadcast race commentaries over its PA system. The track finally conceded defeat in 1997. Also most of the racing scenes in Seabiscuit were filmed at Keeneland, apparently because the place has hardly changed since Seabiscuit himself was around. |

Limited handicap, jump race in which the range of weights carried by horses is narrower to encourage higher rated horses to enter as the weight they will have to concede is restricted. The flat equivalent is a rated stakes race.
