Betting Post - before Harry and his ilk arrived on the scene this was the go-to place for a bet on the racecourse.

When you liked a horse's chance and wanted to back it, or didn't like it and wished to lay it, you'd go to the betting post and invariably there would be someone happy to accommodate you.

It's taken over 200 years but the wheel has finally turned full circle with the advent of today's exchanges.
