I wouldn't have argued with a yellow. He's a lucky lad....again.

And that's that...Irish win Irish Championship, French win English Championship.

50 up.

Good effort from England.

Yep will have to cop himself on with the RWC on the horizon - great talent but he needs to use his head.

Pleased England scored 52, pity about the 11 the other way, first time in a while we've marmalised Italy

France only need to win by 71 and the title is theirs.

As soon as they started that I said if there's a try it will be an English one.

Everything to play for so

England will be kicking themselves if Ireland beat France - the points difference with 10 minutes to go was manageable.

Least France can't win it now, but who can predict what they will do tonight

Apart from losing against France, the obvious place the title was lost (if it is lost) was at Murrayfield where England didn't score enough against a poor Scottish team

It's the first time since Bergamasco played 9 I think

Odd game. I suppose England's pressure caused Italy's errors and Italy missed a number of tackles. England were (apart from the first 5-10) mins very good at retaining possession and getting over the gain line.
Thought Italy were lucky not to get a yellow in the last 5 mins. Dunno what Farrell was doing, once he'd driven the guy off the ruck, job was done.

But required some risks to do so as illustrated!

Indeed. We've butchered tries throughout this tournament. Had at least 2 very good scoring chances besides the ones we scored from against Scotland. May coughed up against Ireland and I'm sure there was another one too.

Left perhaps 15-20+ points on the pitch today too. We screwed two try scoring chances up within 2 minutes at one point.

I wonder what England's best 12 and 13 combination is now, there is a bit of competition. At least they have moved on from not really having a good combination

Wonder if that fiasco cost Mallett the England job

12Trees and Burrell, with Tuilagi on bench, that's it

And this is what Lancaster must drill into them, be RUTHLESS, it's what NZ do

Yep...with the provision that Tuilagi can cover wing too so if centres are going well but we need a bit of impetus, Manu can play wing well enough if need be and supports well enough to come into midfield.

Would be funny if Wales play well today without a certain number 10 at the helm

We should do this combo from now on, the WC is very close now and the incumbents need further game time and caps together PS Police have just arrested Tom Youngs for impersonating a hooker

What a day it would be for the entire Island to win the championship in Paris with a first win in 14 years - whatever happens I hope to god no Irish player lets anything behind them on the pitch, its time for this team to come of age and re-write the history books.
