So generous of the ERC to allocate a whopping 1,000 tickets to Bath & Northampton supporters for the Amlin Challenge Cup at Cardiff Arms Park. Just signed this petition.

Problem I guess is the tickets have been on sale since September and I suspect many have been bought in combination with tickets for the Heineken final

Not sure the practicalities / legalities of a change of venue now

Totally impractical.

There is talk of the clubs wanting it moved to the Cardiff City Stadium, but that's a football stadium and is undergoing some upgrade work at the moment.

Watching the Chiefs v the Lions in the Super Rugby and everything seems to be going to the TMO.
Makes you wonder why when he disallows what look likes a good try ( obstruction of a prop..like he was ever gonna catch anyone) and then awards a try with what looks like a clear knock on.
I imagine he may have been evening things out but awful decision making

Final Rabo Pro12 weekend yields Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Glasgow to the playoffs.

Ospreys and Scarlets go through to Europe. Treviso too, as their bonus point loss was enough.

Saints getting a red card now, as leicester get their third yellow. Not been dirty, just intense.

Saints/Leicester was the best game of rugby I've seen in a long time, it had everything.

The referee deserves praise too, got every major decision right and handled it brilliantly.

Well done to Glasgow - nervous final 15 minutes with just one point advantage. Just need Ulster to beat Leinster for a home advantage in the final.

Excellent nail-biting win for London Welsh yesterday, in the Championship semi final play off 2nd leg.
They overturned a 13 point deficit in the second half, even with a man in the bin and the woeful kicking of Gordon Ross(something like 4 from 10).

As predicted, it's a Bristol v Welsh two legged final.

Simon Shaw (Toulon)
Mike Tindall (Gloucester) up until this season, not ruled out playing for another year
Iain Balshaw (Biarritz)

Cracking end to the Hurricanes/Crusaders in the Super 15
Last seconds TMO decision decides the game

Wouldn't liked to have had to make the decision. TMO decided it was simultaneous grounding and touchline and disallowed what would have been the winning score

Who says technology makes things easier and more clearcut........

Fantastic game tho'

Championship play off first leg line ups announced

London Welsh: Stegmann; Crane, May (capt), Jewell, Scott; Ross, Cook; Trevett, Morris, Edwards, Spencer, Corker, Browne, Kirwan, Browne.

Replacements: Vella, Bristow, Tideswell, West, Thorpe, Lewis, Awcock.

Bristol: Wallace; Watkins, Tovey, Mosses, Short; Robinson, Baldwin; Traynor, Johnston, Hobson, Glynn, Townson, Koster, Mama, Jones (capt).

Replacements:
Lawrence, Hall, Eadie, Skirving, Tipuna, Jarvis, Hughes.

Should be pretty close, I wonder if London Welsh's recent Premiership experience will help them over the line?

He basically took over a squad assembled by Brian Redpath before he left.

Two years later ND now has his squad in place and has been sacked. My view is he should have been given another year with his squad.

It will be interesting to see who our new DoR will be, there is a rumour of an announcement tomorrow. There is also a strong rumour James Hook's arrival will be confirmed soon as well, although that may be delayed until after the Wales trial Friday evening.

Watching the Blues/Canes game in the Super 15

The Blues have just been given a penalty try for a deliberate knock on after the TMO had a look

Very harsh decision. The TMO seems to be taking over for all decisions nowadays. ruins the flow of the game

Congratulations to Northampton.

I feel so sorry for Saracens though. They were the best team over the season.

RU QUERY?

wht do teams kick the ball back, and give possession away. At the end of games they are desperate to get the ball back and end the game. RU is just about the only gsme that a side willingly gives possession to the other team.
