FT 27-28

Disappointing but the scoreline makes it look closer than it actually seemed during the second half

Much too easy for South Africa against Wales

South Africa have barely had to break sweat today

Im sorry but the Welsh game plan was utter utter idiocy as was the English. Although both were opposite ends of the spectrum.

Why the English decided to get into a speed game battle with the All Blacks is beyond me. Winning rugby doesn't have to be pretty or spectacular and when your skill levels are not good enough you have to play smart and safe rugby.

The welsh on the other hand must need their heads examing. You are playing a team with a backrow who all weigh around 19 stone and a pretty slow front row with the exception of the hooker yet they choose to play one out rugby. South Africa must have been unable to believe their luck. "what you want to run straight at us around the breakdown?" Mental, mental approach to the game.

A second row pairing who both retired and cam back they never had to move more than 5mt at a time during the game. The welsh have threats wide they have to go to them earlier in games like this. Balls to "earn the right to go wide." you will not earn it against a team like south Africa you have to just do it.

Owen Farrell out of the 3rd Test on Saturday with a knee ligament injury.

Would guess that Freddie Burns will replace him ?

RWC Tickets available today for ERSC members.

Not exactly the cheapest of tickets, also a lot of the best games haven't been released yet.

7 changes for England and 2 changes for the All Blacks

England have overhauled their backline for Saturday's final Test against New Zealand in Hamilton with Kyle Eastmond and Manu Tuilagi reunited in the centres.

Freddie Burns gets the call at 10 in front of Cypriani and Chris Ashton is back

Agree

Was a bit worried with that late drop goal attempt though. Thought it was between the posts for a moment

From the replays from behind the kicker it looks like for @ 85% of its journey it was through the posts, but drifted just wide to the right at the last moment!

Good game, though, and a lot of up-and-coming talent for both countries.

The England selection panel could have some real headaches in 2019!

Very poor start from England

Kick off didn't go 10 which we got away with and then kicked into touch after taking the ball back into the 22. From the resulting line out , the All Blacks score a try.

Wet and windy as well ( not England's fault )

Kicked a penalty, but from the re-start Savea scores his 2nd try

3-12 after 10 mins

Looks like Guscott may have been right with his prediction of a drubbing

Oh dear , we're getting bashed 4 tries to nil

Aaron Smith with 2 tries and it's 6-29 at ht

Could have been worse as NZ have squandered some straightforward opportunities as well

Much better second half from England with Marlon Yarde scoring the only try so far

73 rd minute and at last a yellow card for the All Blacks for persistant offending

Last minute try from Savea, completing his hat trick, equalises the 2nd half

13-36 final score

Disappointing
