Ireland 26-23 Australia
Absolutely fantastic from Ireland - clean sweep... big statement of intent from us ahead of the 6 nations and the World Cup. Delighted!

Jiffy stating the obvious saying that Wayne Barnes has come down on the side of NZ. He's never been a friend of Wales, doesn't let the game flow, and at one point in this match he actually said himself that he had made a mistake!
As far as Wales are cocerned he is the most useless ref in rugby.

New Zealand just too good, showing exactly why they are #1 in the world and world champions
Now to dust ourselves down and get ready for the final autumn match against South Africa next week |

Not in my book, the pass might not have been forward but not a mission was that grounded after the line.
Great win though. .. Great form we are carrying into the 6 nations .. I fully expect us to be at the business end of the 6 nations and if we manage to carry form in the WC then anything is possible.

Yeah the grounding was very suspect too but I can live with it as we won

I can live with it now but if we hadn't won I suspect the referee and TMO would have been as welcome in Ireland as Martin Sludden is in Louth
![]() haha ..my God that was a bad day for GAA refereeing and an even worse one for the GAA itself.

Great defence for 60 odd minutes. Edwards was no doubt very happy, but little cutting edge in attack ( great try though). As soon as Phillips came on for Webb, I thought it would not go Wales way.
Did Brian Moore make up his mind on mofm? |

ITV Evening News reported and showed highlights of England, Wales and Scotland but made no reference to Ireland. They don't seem to be aware that it is an all Ireland team with players from Ulster : I'm sure people in the UTV region must be bemused.

Ireland has been regarded as one of the "home" unions in international rugby for well over 100 years and plays under the flag of the IRFU, not the Irish tricolour. For ITV News to show highlights of England, Scotland and Wales but completely ignore Ireland is bizarre, especially with there being Ulster players in the squad.
