I say
Wales 14 Ireland 26 England 14 Scotland 10 Italy 16 France 17 very happy for Italy, that was a great result. Genuinely not wishing harm on Scotland, but really want Italy to win next week. A strong 6 Nations where all the teams are dangerous makes for a good tournament. I really enjoyed the England match on Saturday, despite the early try from Scotland. The atmosphere was great and it's nice that you can have some many fans mixed together and not fear that things are gonna kick off That was a very good birthday

Great opening weekend must say I am pleased for Ireland and O'Driscol that man is a competitor of the highest standard. Though not a scrum half........
Wales need to address playing rugby and not relying on monoliths to crash and bash their way over the gain line. If they meet a team that can tackle and rush they have no second option. Very one dimensional. I would be scared of Italy away if I were Welsh. Ireland England game next week is massive, I wouldnt like to call it other than say my heart wants England to win. My head says Ireland. England were a bit to lose for my liking, sometimes they need to settle it down a little bit and concentrate on a high pressure defence. As soon as they switch off their line speed they look vunerable. I still think the results are flatering them and there are some cracks which could be opened a performance in Ireland is essential if this is to be anything meaningful in perfomance. Italy were epic and passionate they need to do it on the road. France were just bloody typicly French, playing teams they consider lesser teams they are lazy and stupid and look lost when the oppositon start to attack. Wales suffer from the same thing hopefully they will see what Italy did to France and not take them lightly. |

Also Donnaca Ryan has to be the scariest man in rugby.

As long as the Howler is in charge, I am going to think Wales will lose everything.
The man is out of his depth and more than likely lost the dressing room in the process of his complete joke of a coaching ability. From Grand slam to 10th in the IRB rankings. That Welsh team damn well got a world Cup semi final and a grand slam and Ireland made them look like school boys on their first day of rugby. |

Maybe, but what could it be?
Its looked like after BOD's score just after half time, they chucked away the gameplan and did their own thing. Came within two scores, one if they took the three points instead of a lineout. That game was winnable right up until Sam decided against kicking for goal. Thing is Wales shouldn't be chasing games they should be building a good lead and protecting it. We saw how England did it against NZ and Scotland. Wales are more than capable. |

Well Ireland sleeping through the second half skewed my first one (not to take away from the wlesh comeback mind) but the essence of what I expected,
England Scotland pretty much as I expected Italy fair play, didn't see that one coming. |

Italy women won against France on saturday as well, I think their first 6 nations win and it was against one of the teams that would have had title hopes.
Losing one game to Wales in 2009 I think gives them the title seven years in a row with six grand slams. You'd really want it to be more competative than that. Mind you I'd kill for those results in the mens game

That's quite promising really. I love watching the women's games (when they deign to show them) but really England have no competition.

They are also missing their first and second choice opensides as well. The strenght in depth is quality. |

I also hope that England beat Ireland, but we do have a terrible " cock up" record. And , being half Scottish I hope the lads will beat Italy. My result prediction for France v Wales may be a bit extreme , but sometimes France have one of those days where everything clicks
![]() I want Italy to win, because it would be great for the competition. Having said that Euan Murray is one of my favourite players (even if he's not as good as once was), so wouldn't mind Scots winning I think it will be close between us and Ireland, hope that we can out muscle them again at scrum. Though I guess they've learnt from last year's clash |

Sorry Scotland but hoping for an Italy win. Would be a huge boost for the 6 Nations to have a more competitive Italy, plus will help the sport develop over there.

Is it my eyes, or does the Scotland change strip make it more difficult to see the difference between them than if they had worn their normal navy blue?

Who chose the kit colours today for Scotland v Italy? Both sides look nearly the same to me! Not even different shades of blue.

I know this has been said a million times before , but would the director not switch camera angles when someone is approaching the line. You can show us all the different angles in replays , but please not in live play . |
