I'm contemplating a third cup of coffee. That's probably a bad idea given that the palpitations have started already.

This is chronic stuff

Great first 15 by Wales but they've faltered slightly since then

Sexton having his poorest game (so far) in a while sadly

Ireland are as lateral, brutal to watch going forward. Early try for wales here and it's game over

And rest...for a bit.

Phew. No classic, but intense, so far, as I predicted! Ref seems to be stifling things, but can't see any bias. Halfpenny is, unsurprisingly, playing a blinder so far, and not just the penalties. Well done so far, shortarse. (They always mention his height! Couple of inches taller than me. Sizeists. )

Right, beer from fridge ready....this could be rather lively.

How many scrums have their been in that half?

Also it's dominant because we lost our tight head.

He is doing what many officials are failing with at the top level of Rugby. Recognising illegal play at the breakdown and penalising offences.

Halfpenny's been outstanding - those catches would put him in contention for a place on a Gaelic football team.

I went for a 12 mile run during the second half of the England game because I was that nervous. Going mad here because I can't do the same today.

Poor kick from Webb. This one'll be decided on small margins and we can't afford mistakes like that.

Rubbish from Barnes
Liam Williams was on his feet

Sean Edwards looking very peed off with that decision from Barnes

Should've taken the 3.

Edwards will be very pleased with that defence though.

Jiffy is right on the commentary, keeping that wave after wave out will have us utterly knackered.

A bit early for the Welsh players to be high fiving each other after that penalty.....there's still over 20 minutes left

Fair play to Wales for weathering that storm and then going straight back on the attack again

Excellent play from Wales. They're on fire.

Ireland are just not on form.

Frustrating errors from Ireland.......it's obvious they're more than a match for this Welsh team and there's virtually nothing between them

Ah for god's sake - why aren't they taking the 3s?

I like my football, cricket and most sports. There is nothing like International Rugby Union to watch when it's as tense as this though.
