Can't help thinking Wales have caught Ireland on an off day and when they are below par (too many unforced errors) but they've certainly played and defended well themselves.

Agreed. Maybe the pressure got to Ireland but that doesn't detract from a great Welsh performance.

That's it. A well deserved win for Wales and it will make for a great weekend next weekend. Although I'm not a fan of deciding these on points difference but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Off day or was Schmidt out thought by Gatland.
Two yellow cards for us and Ireland benefitted from the stoppage after Samson Lee's injury.
Need to look at it again but I'm not totally convinced Ireland's penalty try didn't come from the men in green pulling down their own maul.
No bad thing for Ireland in this World Cup year.......I'd have been a bit worried if they'd gone into that tournament on a big unbeaten run. Perhaps this is just the filip they need.
Ah hahaha Wayne Barnes was a 16th man for Wales today .. That decision to award the penalty when Ireland got the drive on going past 80 is typical of what a bottler he is - I knew the ref would decide our faith.
And if anyone says it's because we have lost, go back to see what I said when he was appointed.
