I would put England's loss down to how bad they played against Ireland a few weeks ago.
Ireland are just the superior team.

They deserve to enjoy their moment but they can't quite celebrate it like a Grandslam.
I fully agree

It just doesn't have that same feel tbh

There's the replica trophy being held aloft in Murrayfield ....... the real trophy is being put back in it's box at Twickers!

Fair play to Wales last week. They got their tactics spot on and deserved to win

Possibly but Dublin was always going to be a tough place to go.
It was always going to be tough but they played uncharacteristically bad that day. Their worst performance in a long time.

But they still nearly pulled it out of the bag today regardless.

Nice of Inverdale to mention that Stuart Hogg dropping the ball gave Ireland the title.

Cough , Vunipola dropped the ball and got awarded one Jon FFS.

Inverdale is quietly sobbing ........ the if's and but's are tripping off his tongue.

If only he would comment on what has happened and not what 'could', 'might' or 'what if', happened!

Magnificent scenes in Scotland... glory days for Irish rugby! back to back tournaments for such a small nation where rugby is only the 3rd sport is brilliant..

Joe Schmidt ya legend!

Great achievement no doubt about it! But I just think there was a slam for the taking. Points difference is a bit of a lottery tbh.

I will admit that beating England to win the title by a record score two years ago felt quite good but it was no slam

Fond memories of the 'england revival' moment from a few years ago which made Jonathan Davies laugh and cheese off Austin Healy

That was honestly the best match I've seen though when all is said and done

11 tries! I'd gladly watch it back

Credit to the English too, it takes a lot of bottle to score seven tries against France (and the French deserve credit for not throwing in the towel when it would have been very easy to)

For sure

I think England when they sit down will be very satisfied with the campaign. As will Wales and of course Ireland. Each won 4 matches and tbh any of them could have won it today there's such small margins

All head into RWC in great shape. England Ireland final outside bet??

I'm still laughing at Sir Clive calling France a good team though.
