I'm sure last year it was on Sky Sports, a bit odd that they're not showing it this time.

Strettle joins Clermont on 3 year deal
I'm guessing that means he's dropped from England training squad then. Lancaster will be on hiding to nothing if he lets Strettle stay in on a technicality. |

Cipriani in trouble - will he be dropped? Quote:
England rugby star Danny Cipriani has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a car crash. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32970302
The Sale Sharks fly-half was unhurt in a collision between his Mercedes and a Toyota in Chelsea, west London, at about 05:15 BST on Monday. Cipriani, 27, was breath-tested and taken to a west London police station before being released on bail. |

Funny thing is the All Blacks bent over backwards to keep their players in the squad, regardless of their indiscretions at the last RWC. |

About the best that could be said for Wales was that at least they turned up in red, not grey. Otherwise, the same poor handling and breakdown work as against France. Deja vu for England as well. Good first half, not so good second.

All sports organisations, or more to the point their shirt manufacturing partners, now realise now there are people out there stupid enough to part with £120 just to wear the same shirt that the team on the field are wearing. Personally I've always gone for the more mid-range £30-60 range option if available.
The cotton one is only 55. |

Much better first half from the England U20 forwards. Still fear that the South Africans can make up the 12 point deficit if they go away from the high tackles and bump and grind and use their superior backs.

Lancaster will be on hiding to nothing if he lets Strettle stay in on a technicality. http://www.theguardian.com/sport/201...orld-cup-squad I must say as a casual observer of the game, how many more ways can a sport and a country think up to shoot itself in the foot? - Won't pick players who go abroad (even in other home nations?) to better themselves, but then replace the latest player with a plastic Brit who has got to return from his home in Fiji. ![]() - Don't select players because of off-field indiscretions, I assume Cipriani will get the push or miss the cut if he is convicted for drink driving. - Have domestic bans for foul play that impact on a players ability to play for his country. A World Cup should showcase the best players in a sport and not have petty rules get in the way. |

The domestic league thing I think IS a bit petty - but then that's the problem with modern professional rugby where the money men control the leagues AND the international sides. Lord knows the Welsh boys are testing "Gatland's Law" to the limit of its credance lately. Also, this is RUGBY, not football. We have standards. Our players are expected to be role models, both in off-field behaviour and on-field discipline. Given the antics the last bunch of English hooray henries got up to in New Zealand (jumping off boats, going to strip clubs etc), it's no wonder England have a zero-tolerance approach to wankeritis this time round. |

Seems Strettle news came as a surprise to Lancaster. I know he was probably only an outsider to make the squad but a couple of injuries and anything can happen. Hope it's not a decision he comes to regret.
