Coley deserved his yellow, but Francis should have got the same too. Ashton is currently serving a ban for doing much less, so why no yellow card? (at least).
Wales came back really well at the end, but ITV's pundits completely ignored the fact this was against 14 men. Anyway a win's a win and next week in Paris could be a nice finish to the tournament (even if the general play has been pretty average). Glad I'm gonna be there to see it. edit: had my football head on, 14 men obviously

The comments on the bbc site are hilarious.
Apparently Wales lost against the clock but not to England. Interesting to note that Eddie Jones is conceding that some of his changes didn't work. A rejuvenated Scotland (with home advantage) should beat France tomorrow. |

Better team won today at Twickenham, no complaints from me.Francis should've at least been yellowed for a potential gouge but I agree that only one angle made it seem inconclusive. If more footage brings up ultimate guilt then he should face a long ban.Curiously there's been no mention of Marler's punch to a Wales players head in the build up to Cole's non try in the first half.An act that could easily be a red if it had been spotted. Had to laugh at some of the penalty awards to England.Itoje was the man of the match but more than one of his turnover penalties was achieved without him being anywhere near on his feet.
Wales had by far our worst first half of rugby since Gatland took over all those years ago.Too passive in defence and letting England power up earlier on and look like they wanted it more.Shame to lose Warburton but he hasn't looked up to full match fitness all tournament. The downside of these dual contracts with the Union is that he hardly ever gets a run out for his regional side in order to get up to full fitness. I also think Cuthbert needs to go away and concentrate on the game below International level. The weakness on attacking his wing was evident throughout and Tom James would've been a much better selection option. We scored two tries against 14 men but that was also down to Rhys Webb returning from the bench. England didn't look too impressive in attack to be honest but their power took the spoils and they should get the Grandslam in Paris next Saturday. You never do know with those French though

Madness by marler
That aside though I actually think he's been huge for England this tournament. And I've never really rated him but this is by far the best he's been in an English shirt Good on him, he shipped a lot of criticism after the RWC |

Joe's been cited for an apparent elbow during the disallowed try for Cole stuff.
As for calling Samson Lee 'gypsy boy', not a good look by Mr Marler Guy hasn't done himself any favours with that and the comment.Hope he gets a chance to apologise if he hasn't already. Plenty of other things you can call an opponent without bringing background into it. |

The tournament is by far the worst off for it This tournament has certainly not been a vintage 6 Nations and England are still very much a work in progress but as an England fan I would be very disappointed if we don't win the Grand Slam next Saturday against the worst French team I can remember. |

Joe Schmidt needs to answer some serious questions as to how Ireland lost to these
They're a mess and a half of a team |

Scotland hang in during the third quarter to leave England as 6n champions.
What was happening in the scrums though? Ref didn't seem too keen to sort it out, maybe a yellow card to each side may have focussed the minds. |

![]() Grandslam next, can't see this french team stopping us ![]() I've always been of the mindset that there's just something missing from a Championship win without a slam. It's just not the same PD just isn't fair in a home and away comp. As exciting as the last day was last year it pretty much descended into a farce- it was simply who could beat their respective whipping boy opponents by the most. Exciting viewing though! Ireland's last two Championships don't hold a candle to the 2009 slam for me. It's a proper statement that you're indisputably the best side in the NH and you're undisputed champions Anyhow EJ seems to be thinking along the same lines. Said it's slam or nothing. Interestingly the interviewer asked out of Billy V, Itoje and AW who was the best player for them, and rather than the PC cop-out "it was a 15 man job" he answered "Chris Robshaw without a shadow of a doubt" ![]() I've really warmed to him |

I see Marler has apologised for his comments to Lee. No doubt when Brown and Williams had a bit of a disagreement it was about the finer points of bonsai.

What I've loved about EJ and this championship is his straight talking. Under Lanc I always felt we had to be humble and not brag about winning, even Robshaw was trying to be the perfect gent all the time. No more though, selecting an abrasive captain, saying we're going to smack Italy, Sexton's parents should be worried etc... it's good to see the team with a bit of a swagger and bullying teams again. I can't wait for Itoje to hit puberty, he's going to be amazing. |

In fairness at least this year if England don't beat France they will still win the championship outright on clear points, not just PD.

The amount of penalties we keep giving away hasn't really changed since the days of a fuming Johnson against Ireland (I think) back in 2011. |
