Absolutely nothing in any of it. I personally think it's great to see. So much passion from both sides.

Both teams seem okay with each other at the end, maybe it was a lot of handbags at five paces stuff.

Yes, you get one maybe 2 flair ups, but not the mass handbags we saw.
Goodness only knows what happened after toners try.
Thought the ref was OK with it all. Liked the way he gave sexton a slight bollocking after he took the piss out of hogg.

2 daft yellows meant Scotland were never going to be in with a shout.

I'd say Joe Schmidt was a bit annoyed with the Irish players. He's cultured and a perfectionist, not a wind up merchant who likes a few fisticuffs

Finally Ireland can hold on to a big lead. Better late than never.

Spicy opening ten minutes in Paris.
Fine try from Danny Care.
Going to be 3-10 to England,

England missing tackles like Wales were in the opening period last week.
France without the finishers to get over so far though.

What a nonsense of a sport - thankfully in an hour's time we won't hear about it for another 11 months.

Also, Brian Moore, what a w@nker of a man.

You don't have to watch it.

Hard to believe how deep France are playing.

I've got a fair bit of money riding on it so I'm finding it hard not to watch. I wish nobody had to watch it. It was actually refreshing this week to see Frank Skinner and Charlie Sloth on iPlayer saying how awful rugby is. Normally people have to be hush-hush about the issue.

Do you think we should have a first choice scrum half instead of picking Danny Care one match and Ben Youngs in another match

Do you have an informed opinion to make or a coherent argument?

Am I the only one who thought that penalty went over??

Hard to believe England are ahead.
I suppose it stems from france trying to play in a manner quite different to previous games (and I understand at club level) and being unfamiliar with it. If they do click in the second half, they should win.
On the other hand, England have to make their first tackles and be more co-ordinated in defence not leaving Nowell to defend 2 players.
All to play for.

I thought it went over, but French TV are obsessed with weird angles (and missing live play), so I trust the asst refs.

John Inverdale made a good point about when France make a pass they are always standing still when they receive the ball

I just had a thought......

Never been a huge rugby fan but I've certainly watched England games on the telly since the 1960s

Sat here during what appears to now be a 20 minutes half time break I'm thinking that in the olden days I don't think the players even left the pitch at half time........they just changed sides and kicked off

Am I remembering this correctly ?........

I can only remember back to the early-mid 90's England games (Carling and Underwoods era) but I think yes they just used to stop on the pitch have a quick drink and chat then switched round and carried on.

Probably changed when the professional era started.

geez.......that's true !

how on earth have we managed to win every game in the tournament.......(if we do)

seems like they're determined to chuck every game away in the last 20 minutes.....

Like the comms were discussing I'm constantly baffled everytime I watch rugby why the refs just ignore the ball being fed into the second row of the scrum every single time. It's not even a spun ball fed into the middle that spins your way it's literally just chucked to the second row!

Nice of the French forward to try and paralyse hartley by lifting him up when out cold.
