Lucky try, think there was a bit of accidental offside.

Trinh-Duc and Parra are not going to win you world cups, but they know each other's games well and have now acquired the experience necessary to win tough games.
I think Para will win you the cup, not sure about Trinh-Duc and Michalak has never been consistent enough.

All over now. France start with their best team and end up with their worst team. They ahd the advantage in hte scrum but took off the front row and as a result struggle for possession. Michalak looking pretty awful.

Fine win ultimately for England albeit with the odd bit of good fortune.

This is turning into a nightmare, it is beginning to look like the Cockneys are going to win the Grand Slam. I'm sure there are worse things that can happen in life but I am struggling to think of any.

As soon as Trinh-Duc went off, it was obvious England were going to win. England's strength off the bench really told.
I still like to see 36 in the centre as Barritt & Tuilagi are too similar & lack invention.

Seems like I'm the only person forecasting a Scotland win tomorrow.

PSA made some clueless decisions in the second half. Credit to England but I think Wales will overturn them in Cardiff

Seems a fair bet with home advantage.

Interesting nickname when our coaches are all northern and most of our best players are too

I agree on the french subs making a difference (or lack there of), that said some credit should go to England for having a powerful bench... I really think that if France hadn't have made those changes they'd have just tired in the last 20 minutes. Youngs looked really good when he came on (I think being a sub suits his game well), Vunipolo looked good as well. I still don't understand how Launchbury can be so good when he's so young.

Wales game was quite hard to watch but Halfpenny is just amazing, has to start at 15 for the Lions for me!

Well done Wales and well done England today.

However , I'm not sure if Craig Joubert should be an International referee for much longer. Much like at the last World Cup Final in New Zealand , he really made some bizarre calls against the French being the away team.

I was equally frustrated at his decision making during Wales tests in Australia last summer. Seems to consistently let one team get away with offences he will easily ping the opposition for.

Genuinely hope he's not the man in the middle for any of the Lions tests in Oz!!!!

Strewth, glad he is better but Cotter has recovered enough to be commentating today.

Ireland should be well ahead. Their No.10 , Jackson is struggling a bit though , he ought to be replaced.
Good bet for the Lions captain is Rory Best .

I have to say when I saw the teams before hand I was really concerned. It looked like france had strengthened their team where as England had benched guys that were playing really well up until now. I'll happily bow to that tactic however

Unbelievable result considering the stats. 74% possession. 71% territory. 128 tackles vs 44 tackles. Gotta hand it to Scotland they never gave up... although Ireland threw it away.

For most of the game it looked like both sides were trying to 'give up' but neither was good enough to do so

I think a victory of mediocrity today... Jackson (Irish) looked very much out of his depth... concern for Ireland with no depth behind Sexton.

Marshall looked good but other than him no one was really any good. Hogg, Heaslip, Visser, Laidlaw and Best all reduced their Lions stock... that said it's only 1 game, 2 more rounds to go!

Well done Scotland, don't really know how ye did it but a win is a win. The Irish team is in disarray, the selection of Paddy Jackson will probably mean Kidney's rein as Irish coach is over, RTE panel here in Ireland are mounting massive pressure on Kidney and his coaching team. Line Out and Scum set pieces have been disgraceful for a very long time, I really do fear for us with France coming to Dublin in two weeks time, might be a return to the bad old days.
