At least we stopped it getting to 40 points by the foot in touch.

40 games unbeaten on home soil for NZ

Come on England and Ireland.

Patchell for me brings an air of mystery to opposing teams. I can't tell from one half to the next how he's going to play.

Anyway we came away from another NZ test with our heads held high. Deep down for New Zealand winning by these methods is not the same as an honest victory but scoring more points is their raison d'etre so on they go.

Aus v Eng

Kick off at 11.08

Kick off due to take place at 11.00

Presumably they knew how long the formalities would take so why didn't they come out 8 minutes earlier ?

For the second week in a row we've achieved our smallest ever margin of defeat against them in NZ

Patchell looks a hell of a lot like Prince Harry doesn't he?

For the second week running, a nice indigenous Australian person has thanked every blade of grass and drop of water in the country for letting people play rugby on it

they could have asked him how long his speech was and come out 8 minutes earlier !

or even better........he could have made his speech at 10;45 before the players came out !

I want to get out and do something between this game and the 2.00pm footy........but I can see that prospect disappearing........

That James Hewitt certainly got around in his time didn't he He even made it as far as the wilds of Wales

Re the defeat stats I'd wipe out a few of the dodgy NZ tries as I said New Zealand know what was going on tonight and their victory was hollow.

I'm a good 5 minutes behind in coverage but yes an excellent old fashioned England try.

This pitch would be more suited to being on Countryfile than a rugby match!

Slipper remains an awful scrummaging prop. Aus are done for in that department.

MV I turned the sound down judging by the hairstyles and the possum worn around his shoulder I thought he was someone who had been let out for the evening from a local institution.

Usual appaling refereeing from Joubert, cuntroversy follows the man around because he is really one. The hooter went and somehow the game went on to 43 mnutes ??

Pretty sure kick-off was scheduled for 11:05 as it usually is for Wallabies home games. That was the time Sky Sports were quoting.

7-10 at half time to England. Big defensive effort to keep Aus out right on the whistle.
They kept pounding for the line whilst advantage was called. Should've grubbed kicked it away to get the chance for a pen.

Good refereeing from Nigel Owens who sees everything and England get their penalty. Its a master class for joubert to observe and learn from.

Emgland's defence was just immense in that game. And so much better disciplined than normal

what a fantastic defensive performance by England.........Australia seemed to be permanently camped 5 yards from England's line for about the last 50 minutes but couldn't score a try !

And we didn't give hundreds of penalties away........

awesome !.......
